What do you lose when attend AGM? Your free food or gifts from Parkson(PRA) should cover your petrol expenses unlike those stay far away eg in Pg, etc. You happy see PRA drop 90% bec you can buy more?

Opportunity: Parkson has lots of cash on its books — RM3.197 billion — the result of the disposal of Beijing Huadesheng Property Management Co Ltd. On a net basis, Parkson has RM555.4 million cash or almost 96% of the group’s market capitalisation. The group is 32.6%-controlled by Tan Sri William Cheng.

Challenges: To take the company private, Cheng would need to muster about RM430 million (assuming a 10% premium). Funding may be challenging as Parkson is loss-making.

On behalf of Parkson shareholders I sent e-mail asking them to move out from CMMT shopping malls because of high rental. I suggest Penang Gurney Plaza next to move out.

If you scroll up this forum, you will see many dead heroes along the path, just like Iraqi Army littered along highways in Desert Storm.

I would suggest closing stores in Mahkota and Subang Parade to save rental cost and salary. Like Giant choose min 5 stores to close esp those in towns or cities which has many Parkson. Or try to bargain with shopping mall for lower rental if they don't want Parkson to close.

Triplc was traded at only RM 1.25 on 31st Dec 2015. If it is good why Puncak never buy from open market(even 1 whole year(2016) buy no need to pay RM 3) but instead must pay RM 3?

Shares buy back is better than use to bail out subsidiary like Puncak case bailing out Triplc. But Parkson don't use cash to help Lion Group.

At least Parkson use cash to buy back shares every day and declare share dividend to shareholders. What Puncak got? Bail out crony(Triplc) RM 3?

PRGL is main asset so 80 sen HKD is more valuable than PRA.

Every day Bursa announcement is SBB. Each sen drop mean use less money to SBB hence lower borrowing. After Beijing property disposed Parkson has more cash and further less borrowing.

If you ask those not working buying a new car is not a necessity. But people don't mind spending RM 100-200 buying new shirts(at Parkson, etc) or go to restaurant.

As seen in i3 data, DRB sales going down and down and loss piling up. Every years workers must have increment. How to make profit when sales lower and workers demand higher pay?

Has DRB sold Proton? No right so continue loss make sense is it?
