MD informed us that the cost is less than Usd20 per barrel. I shouldn't being conservative at the first place :D
Indeed, the reserve is looking great for me and my cost estimation is based on the reserve as well.
However, share price shown that the sentiment of most investors worry about the slump of oil price in next few months.

LadyD, I have referred to the announcement and hence made my own assessment. :)
To be honest, the lowest cost estimation that I have calculated can go to as low as Usd18 -Usd19 per barrel. Again, the range of uncertainty is too wide and hence I put not more than Usd25 per barrel in the most conservative way.
FYI, onshore extraction should be way more economic than offshore extraction.
If Sona cost is Usd 26/31 per barrel, Reach Energy cost should be way lower than this number.

Base on my "rough" evaluation, the operating and capital cost for Reach Energy to extract the oil(onshore) shouldn't exceed USD25 per barrel.
In fact, it's very hard to give precise cost, especially when you are outsider but my lowest estimation cost is close to USD20 per barrel.

If my memory serves me right, initially Reach Energy holdings(management team) owns 20% of Reach Energy Bhd while Daya owns roughly 2%. The rest of 78% goes to the investors.
However, out of those 78%, only 2% goes to Public as the rest go to Private placement.
Eventhough this was out dated data but the hidden message is still there. :)
