It will depend on Dividend payout rate . If still giving out same rate like before. Current entry price is good. But then looking at the last QR .. Net profit dropped to so little. I doubt same rate payout this year.. May be i will wait a little longer
@kelvinfixx Bro... your unrealized loss must be damn high now... Bear in mind that malakoff's dividend payout ratio is not as high as before (it is about 1/2 from before and the share price was hovering around 80-90cents at 100% dividend payout ratio)
Encouraging day for this counter. Is it just normal portfolio-balancing by institutional buyers like EPF and KWAP, or something going on? Like that much-speculated (since several years ago) "taking it private again"? Hopefully it's investors, big and small, having interest in unexciting utilities companies again.
People just dont realize that this counter had better fundamentals than the rival ipps in spite of having less business assets valuations here than the latter. Its good that its share price is holding steady.
