Hehehe the hantus here are so very funny. They want people to fear Sumatec because they are waiting to buy. I understand them now. Harvard57 said he sold Sumatec at 35c and that he will not go back into Sumatec (actually he means at this price lah) People who have sold ( have no belief it will go higher) That is why they want it to go back down atleast 10-20c, where they feel it is safe price to buy.. They are SO IN LOVE with Sumatec too. I hope they get left behind by the train ;)

The market talk i hear is that operators from other stocks want to join in Sumatec, hence they are pushing the price down to buy. Not too sure how true that is but the way , hantus appear to scare ppl to sell seems to explain why..

Correct me if Im wrong, you can only calculate the ex price of a stock, once you know its LAST DONE PRICE BEFORE the ex date. Currently Sumatec has not even announced its ex date.

Say for eg Sumatec's last done price is 0.50c and you have 100,000 shares of it, your cost is RM 50,000. From that 100,000 shares , you are entitled to subscribe to 41,000 shares of Rights @0.175c which means you pay another RM 7175.00.
Total cost RM 50k + RM 7175 = RM 57175 which you divide by the total number of shares held 141,000 shares would amount to 0.40c (this does not include the free warrants)

If include the free warrants, total amount of shares held is 151,250 shares which will bring ex price to 0.37c. - My simple calculation, not too sure if that is how one calculates with the free warrant.

But just to show, theoretical ex price is calculated on the last done price before ex date.

The ex price is actually known as the Theoretical Ex-Rights Price. Theoretically lah, it should go to 0.23c but in some cases not .. It depends on many factors , bull market or bear market, the demand for the shares and so on. If the company is so bad, they probably wouldnt even get underwriters oso. But it is a fact Right issues are never popular because it is asking investors to pump in more money. I think if its supposed to go to 0.23c it should have gone already by now. derrickinvestor, my advise if you didnt get out earlier and too sayang to cut loss, you hold on and wait...Shut eyes and ears for 2 months, probably you will get some new warrants after price adjustment. But if stuck in mother share, it would help if you can take up the rights.

Aiyah..why you scare them like that? If you read carefully, on the 23 of August , the 2 directors exercise the ESOS shares by aquiring 1M shares and 300k share each. So far that Kamaruddin has disposed only 100k and Mr Chan disposed his 1M.. Like you people too, they want to take profit lorr.

I have no idea what the lowest price will be. Looking at it currently, it is still supported above 0.50c..could be their support.. To know if they are out of the red zone, you will have to wait for their next quarterly results lah

I think 0.80c only possible once they announce they are in the black... Currently still in the red altho the company had reduced their losses by quite a bit

Check the quantity sold against the buying. If I saw correctly, sold less.

Im guessing by looking at past prices.. 23/8 this stock reached its 80c target, then UMA, the next day we saw the whole market coming down due to Syria and Ringgit and the lowest it touched was 0.44c.. My guess is that here abouts is the support price. But it is only my guess, I could be wrong

Prc4wifefe, Of course you can sell the rights or even the or but... you have to wait maa, for it to list. So money stuck there for some time. Sure will make money, but market is kinda uncertain now, anything can happen lah (globally), just hope when they list the rights , market is still good lor.. People with deep pockets can wait . People with limited funds will probably want to hold their cash first and probably come back after the exercise. I still believe this stock can go, end of year rm1..but that is 4 months away. And they will definitely support the price, at what price, we will have to wait and see..but it will definitely be at a price attractive enough for s/holders to go through the exercise..

I think if directors sell, must be because rights coming soon. Rights can be good for those with excess cash maa but most cases people decline to put in more money. If you go thought their announcements , those 2 directors bought just before the rise also..Must be for extra weekend pocket money

My advise, if your cost is not too high, cut first becoz the warrant may come down a bit (since its exercise price is 0.35c) .Can wait to buy back after ex. If too much to cut loss, you can hold and wait for the price to come back up, probably end of year, which i hear target is 0.80c to rm1.00.

The current warrant should be getting some new warrants , after some calculation . I experienced that with some other stocks before. So dont panic too much.
