Why MYEG drop? Due to immigration dept will handle the transaction by themselves by using NIISE System. Now the project classified as sick project. The question now is whether immigration department can handle the project by 2025? If can what will happen to MYEG?

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 31): MY EG Services Bhd (MYEG) has proposed to buy a 10% stake in S5 Holdings Inc, a company that provides integrated security IT solutions to governments, for RM86.5 million.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the anti-graft agency’s probe centred around possible abuse of power in connection with the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe).

“MACC is looking at how the contract was given and the company’s links to those who were in power at the time,” the source said.

New evidence related to the case has surfaced, including that the project was now classified as a “sick project” as very little progress has been made, the source added.

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 18): IRIS Corporation Bhd is confident of handing over the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project to the Immigration Department in 2024, as scheduled.
