?The Repsol acquisition (completed on Jan 24, 2022) is timely, to ride on the higher oil price outlook. All in, we expect Hibiscus to see strong earnings growth in FY22 (3.1 times year on year) and FY23 (1.9 times year on year) respectively,? he said.

From the above statement, it means 2 years down the road; FY earning can be 6 fold or higher versus FY 2021.
However, this is a bit too long to wait. I would be happy to take profit at RM2 with almost 150% gaining.

Definitely, the whole economy will melt down with this crazy global oil price. The supply chain will be heavily disrupted with high raw material cost & transportation costs. Hence, all investors here who gain profit can at least cover the extra expenses needed for the higher cost of living in the near future.
We are looking at >100% investment profit as this is the only oil counter in Bursa with debt free plus potential of 3x higher production vs. previous quarter. Don't look at PE as I know some choose to invest another oil counter at PE4, whose position is not as good as Hibiscus for sure (debt free, business expansion & transparencies)

Coiffure, you are right, but that is for the short term. because there are too many daytraders and short-term investors who flow short-term commodity prices. But at the same time, value investors and IB will start collecting the tickets for sure. Provided brendt sustain above 80. Hibi QR will be fantastic and not to forget the potential dividend that is not yet factor in.

Pandemic glove stock up, ppl shout to run, it keep shoot up to a few hundred % before correction. (When enter glove counter should know that once vaccine is available, should start careful/selling)

This round for O&G, the bull just about to be unleased, some people ask you to run again...

If the fundamentals are good and the market is right, just be confident and patient.

War= bad for the world, good for Hibiscus

No war= TP 1.7 by Maybank (conservative TP)

What is making us worry so much besides those non facts statements of 'lari, cabut, run'?

Sell Hibi when global oil supply starts balance up with downtrend of global oil price which give us clear indicator every day, unlike last time for Vaccine.
The upstream oil counter gave us the best visibility of their potential profit.

Hibi past 2 QR has proven that USD75 global oil price is far better than decent. Before global oil goes below USD85, the company is a cash cow. Be patience and good luck, everyone!

5 commodities price will spike with sanction on Russia, oil & natural gas will be 2 of them (Other 3: aluminium, copper, cobalt- source from- https://oilprice.com/Metals/Commodities/5-Commodities-That-Could-Explode-As-The-Ukraine-Crisis-Escalates.html). Opec will backed Russia for not pumping more oils to support the demand.
If war really happens, what will be benefiting Hibi other than oil price?
1. Non-commodity counters will be affected by a higher cost of commodity and transportation.
2. Most investors will withdraw their cash
3. Investors will shift their modal into counters that benefit from war. Hibi definitely is 1 of them out of very few in Msia.
Not to forget, without the war, Hibi TP was already valued at RM1.7 by Maybank in 12 months without factor in high oil price >USD90.
This counter current price looks high compared to just a month ago, but remember that time the price is still not having all the current plus points. It is relatively low, and many rooms grow, especially when there are a bunch of funds that start shifting from other counters that will have negative impacts from the potential war.

As long as >USD75, we can expect the same profit margin as previous QR, nothing to worry about for this counter, right? Sommore USD75 is not able to make shale investors happy, with less production from shale, oil price will continue high

Global oil price is the key to keeping the bull running.
1. US want to attract re-investment in this sector; they also can't press the price too low, not hard to find the info for shale production cost approx USD60.
2. Opec+ also underinvestment & not to push much coz on shore production cost is way cheaper, they should be prefer higher margin by just supply with slight below market demand
Withvl these, I don't see how oil prices will not continue above USD80 for longer term. Hence, Hibi with high margin & with 3x production later of this year, price to go 2x higher than current is just a matter of time. Their QR will prove it.
Big funds will come in soon (or maybe already pump in a lot). Just hold tight & ignore those noises without valid points, such as old platform, weather bla bla bla. If they have all new platform with high productivity, their market cap and value are already way higher than this, so I believe we should not factor in invalid justification to confuse ourselves in making decision to buy or sell.

To attract long-term investors, I hope Hibi management team will consider to give dividend FY equivalent to >5% yield.
