Disposal of DGSB stake fails to excite OMESTI-WB

The share price of Omesti Bhd failed to react significantly to the company’s announcement that it was disposing 290 million shares or 21.39% stake in its listed subsidiary Diversified Gateway Solutions Bhd (DGSB) to Insas Technology Bhd (ITB) and its directors Datuk Dr Tan Seng Chuan and Datuk Wong Gian Kui.

The disposal was for a cash consideration of RM13.78 mil or 4.75 sen per share.

While the share price of DGSB surged to as high as 10 sen – more than doubled the disposal price – the price of Omesti’s share and warrant remained lacklustre having closed on Nov 8 at 48 sen and six sen respectively.

Omesti Group is a leading technology player that brings together a diverse range of enterprise and as-a-service solutions for Infrastructure (IaaS), Platform (PaaS) and Software (SaaS) with the appropriate skillsets to serve multiple industries within the private and public sectors.

Dato Thong Kok Khee of Insas is known opportunist and will only invested in potential company. Inari is one of them and Inari is contract manufacturing for AVGO (Broadcom). Yesterday Broadcom launched a bid to acquire Qualcomm for USD105billion to create largest chipsmaker in the world.

Another company that Dato Thong feel no synergies is SYF in which he is disposing for past 1 year and the stock fell like nobody biz.

So you can assure that DGSB is really in synergies with Insas Tech Bhd and more news to emerge from this episode.

Great, breaking 0.145 is my target as well, no one will know how far it can go between 0.15 - 0.20 if it can really break 0.145. More positive announcement shall be coming within this month. Do not expect positive quarterly results in the near term, we'll have to observe on how Insas can turn around DGSB.
