@ Wonder88 & hwoon ,
I find Comcorp has no disclosure yet from their progress in Smart Meter & Innovative Led division.
Which believed, to be the second trust of profit contributor after its high margin EMS in automotive .”

Hi VenFx, I sincerely hope the following pointers can help to shed some lights on the progress of the Smart Meter project: -

(1) Oblivious to most of us, Comcorp has been working discreetly with TNB in producing the Smart Meter / Smart Power Grid Solution since 2012. This can be substantiated by an article which appeared in The Sun Daily on 21 Jun 2016 whereby the Energy, Green Technology, and Water Minister, Datuk Seri Maximus Ongkili confirmed that 1,000 of the "smart meters" have already been installed in Putrajaya and Malacca as a pilot project by TNB and will eventually be installed nationwide. Ref: http://m.thesundaily.my/node/375599.

(2) To reinforce the above pointer, their Executive Director, Mr Loh Hock Chiang has mentioned in the recent AGM held on 23 Jun 2016 that TNB will be rolling out the Smart Meter project this year to be spread over 5 years. Malacca alone will require some 300,000 over Smart Meters. In addition, for the country as a whole, it will be in excess of 8.5mil Smart Meters over the next 5 years. So in terms of the impact on the bottom line, if Comcorp were to be chosen, it will most likely come in end of the year or next year.

(3) A simple illustration - Assuming the cost is at RM150 per Smart Meter,
Total Cost (spread over 5yrs) = (8.5mil Smart Meters x RM150) = RM1.275B! Or RM255M per yr!
And assuming a conservative profit margin of 5% of RM255M, it should profit about RM12.75M per yr; [NOTE – This is just my own assumptions].

With no competitor at sight (except for the hideously crafty operator), expect the price to explode due to its dynamic earnings potential. Definitely a STRONG BUY!

I concur with elixir33.
This is the kind of counter to lookout for to invest in the medium to long term and get dividends, bonuses & share's split.
It is well diversified with explosive earnings growth & profit potential, esp. Green Tech & Smart Meter.
Tomorrow, it will fly!

Two things to note: -
1) The price movement implies that the forthcoming 1st QR is expected to be very very good!
2) I estimate the EPS to hit 6sen, or an annualized average of about 24sen. Therefore, I leave the TP to your own ingenuity!!
Come Mon & Tues (before the AGM on Thurs), 1.20 to 1.40 is not a problem.
P/S - Bursa is closed next Wed.

On its own fundamentals, it should reflect 1.40 to 1.50.
With the "SMART METER & SMART GRID" project, the sky is the limit!!!

Comcorp is a turnaround stock that is going to explode soon!
Not only fundamentals are solid (EPS = 10sen post 2015), forward earnings will improve significantly with the exchange rate hovering around 4.00 to 4.10 levels.
On its own, EPS may achieve 16sen to 20sen (2016 annualised).

Several catalysts are on the way: -
(1) Green Tech plant in Kundang, Kuang going on steam, giving RM6.67mil/yr fixed from feed-in-tariff;
(2) Come July 2016, litigation payment from U-Television of RM12mil (excluding late interests of about RM2.0mil);
(3) Between, 2012 – 2014, funding of RM9.0mil from the government on the SMART METER project involved Comcorp in the manufacturing/assembling of such meters. A total of 8.5mil pcs, commencing with Melaka (2017), to be spread over 5 yrs. Earnings for Comcorp would be further boosted. BUY!!!
