Johor SEZ is expected to be launched in Jan (postponed from 9 Dec 24. But sounds like it's definitely soon. This would be great for Econpile's project pipeline!

They should spend a bit of time on investor relations and getting some analyst coverage going. This will help rerate the stock price. Why stay listed if there there is hardly any corporate action or investor following? YOCB is getting to a size where it may interest emerging market micro cap funds. Management should start thinking about Minority Shareholders too.

On track to hit 20c EPS for the full year? If YOCB follows a 30% payout ratio, can we hope for 7c dividend for the year giving a 7% dividend yield?

Freight rates to East Malaysia still holding at very high levels this quarter. Without the similar slowdown in uplift over CNY, this quarter should see another hugely improved set of results .... and hopefully a generous dividend too?

Completion of the disposal of its tank farm in Vietnam gives Ancom a RM20.5m gain on disposal. Extra profits to be reported!

Nylex is a listed shell with only RM8m cash left in it. At current prices, market cap is RM90-100 million. Waaaaay overvalued. Cashed out yesterday. Leave this to the speculators and day traders.

Makes sense to privatise. It's trading at such a huge discount to book value and yet still very profitable.

It was already announced in 2020 that after Ancom Logistics is sold to S5, Nylex would buy AncomL's remaining (small) businesses. Perhaps more synergistic acquisitions planned after that? But that RTO deal is still pending after 1.5 years

The gain on disposal of Nyex's tank farm in Vietnam alone will add RM20m+ to net profits. So RM45m for the current FY should be easily achievable.

MyEG is reshuffling its shareholdings in S5 which is supposed to be injected into Ancom Logistics. Announced by MyEG on 31 Dec.
Probably exciting investors that the long awaited (since mid 2020) RTO will finally happen. Will create value for Ancom via its shares in Ancom Logistics. Good timing too as Nylex will be a listed shell soon and it will then buy the remaining small business in Ancom Logistics (announced in 2020 too). So Nylex shares will have value .... and who knows .... maybe there are other acquisitions lined up for Nylex?? The game goes on!
Plus, Nylex's sale of its tank farm in Vietnam should complete by end Feb 2022. That will realise a USD5m (RM20+ million) gain on disposal for Ancom/Nylex (as announced on 20 Aug 2021).
Plenty of good news lined up!

Spiralling gas price is driving up ammonia and consequently fertiliser prices. Ancom Cropcare will benefit from this if this can be passed on to consumers.
There may be a shortages too.

Hope Ancom (and Nylex) share prices will enjoy major reratings and upticks soon!

Makes sense for owners to take it private. Discount to NTA and huge cash hoard in the company. No point to keep it listed if it is trading at such low valuations and they don't use the listed status for M&A's etc.

The warrants are so in the money that surely it has to gap up? At 84c exercise price + RM1.41 warrant price = RM2.25 .... when the mother share is trading even high at RM2.41 ......

Ancom will pay for Nylex assets and liabilities via a combination of cash and new Ancom shares issued at RM1.50. Ancom shares now trading at about RM2.44 so there is good profits from the new Ancom shares to be issued to Nylex shareholders.

Not bad at all .... losses only from kiln drying. The other manufacturing businesses remained profitable even though closed for 2 out of 3 months due to lockdown! This quarter should be better with manufacturing back to production since end Aug (i.e. will be operating for 2 out of 3 months in this current quarter). Management must be confident of recovery to declare 5.5 sen final dividend.

If Nylex shareholders get 91 sen from Ancom from the sale of Nylex business plus 9 sen in cash left in Nylex, the base intrinsic value would be RM1 per Nylex share.
Nylex would remain listed so there should be a premium for the listed shell. Assume that premium to be another 10c / share. This brings Nylex to RM1.10.
Now that Ancom is trading at RM1.90 (a 40sen premium to the new Ancom shares issued to Nylex shareholders at RM1.50), that's roughly another 20 sen added to the value of Nylex shares ... bringing theoretical total to RM1.30.
All theoretical but still upside for Nylex shares!

At the AGM today, the board mentioned that they have secured BYD as a client for BYD's robotic vacuum cleaner with further enquiries from BYD for other value added manufacturing services. Perhaps parts for EVs (?) which need more plastic components than internal combustion engine vehicles? Future prospects look good!

Logistical problems remain as the vaccine has to be stored at -80C. Not going to be the magic bullet which solves the Covid crisis.
"The vaccine, based on a simple strand of messenger RNA (mRNA), has to be kept at frigid temperatures of below 80 degrees Celsius to preserve the genetic material, and making and delivering it to hundreds of millions—if not billions—of people remain huge challenges."
