Thanks Patrick! Is that dividend yield of 6.76% before of after accounting for the withholding tax?

Sorry,noob question. Is the income distribution taxed? How does one calculate the actual dividend yield for this stock?

It's gone up from 18.5sen. Usually last few days before ex-date shows the most change.

Could someone with more knowledge than me please explain what AncomLB is doing, and the reason for this capital reduction. I've read up a bit, and I see no reason to be scared - but I'm not an expert here. I know JCool already explained it - but seeing eftee's comment above this one shows that it needs to be repeated.

han98134 - They have previously announced 8 cents to be payed out, but without the ex-dates yet. 4 cents in January and another 4 cents in March or April. Now the ex-date for January already announced. The ex-date for the one in March or April will be announced later.

Maybe because the price is so low? Easier for volume to be high. At the moment, price touching 0.205 - will probably continue rising until just before ex-date.

balvin71 - There will be another 4 sen dividend in March or April - maybe I should sell my house and accumulate more shares in AncomLB also lol.

Hmm, they woke up. But they still selling... weird. Buy rate is still higher than 50% though.

I don't think it works like that - the price goes up according to buyers. Usually people queue early and snap up the shares, which drives the price up within the first few transactions of the day - but Ancomlb has been sleeping for so long that there is a large number of shares queued for sale at lower prices, I doubt the owners even heard about the dividend yet, or they would probably queue at higher sell prices.

PIE only gives dividends once a year - mid year. Would be something new if they gave twice a year.

Been holding since the price was 4.38 about 2 years ago. Just sold all. Have no idea what's going on, it looks really weird. Low volume but price jumped so much, best buy price is always 1 lot queued only...Registered to post this, because I'm so curious, but no one seems to know what's going on.
