Given the trend of the share price, one has to be very worried about this Company being privatised at unfair but reasonable price. Market cap @RM2.58 equals to RM520 mil, less cash and cash equivalent close to RM300 mil+, back up by tones of properties at revalued book value of RM400+ mil. what's wrong with the investors' confidence in this counter?

Utterly rubbish! Despite of recording two consecutive of much improved profits, the share price is over hanged with the 10% private placement placed at 0.46 piece back in December. The placee must be very frustrated.

It is rubbish for Director to place out 10% share at 0.46 and raised a meagre sum of 11 mil....

Total share cap after rights issue will be 767 mil shares. To declare 5 sen dividend, it will require RM38 mil. and 5 sen translate to a dividend yield of 4.7% based on RM1.06 share price.

Can MNRB commit to 5 sen dividend next year? Currently, they made about RM20mil to RM40mil a quarter.

Floor price 0.21.... in share market, anything is possible... better keep one mouth shut....

It is rare to see the Chairman of the Company to buy from market. Chairman has been with the Company for more than 10 years. Did he see something lying ahead for the Company and the future with Geely/Proton? Something to ponder hard...

While nobody can see clearly in front, the automotive industry remains depress as the share price is hovering around the level of 2010. It is 8 years ago. Good that this stock has been forgotten by the public. So that it provide opportunity for learnt people to collect....

Totally wrong move into hospital. Sell the land to other stronger franchise, like ramsay sime darby or IHH, utilize the money into core biz.

Rights issue won't work as the major shareholder is holding less than 30% and if the issue price is priced at RM1, who will subscribe? At RM1, they can only raise a miserable RM13.2 mil. Only enough to build single storey hospital with no basement carpark.

The inventories sitting in Tongher book has much higher value now compared to 31 Dec 2017. The Management increased its inventories from 2016's RM228 mil to 2017's RM290 mil. Very smart move. The additional RM60 mil can rake in few percentage more of profit margin.

If they can sell the land at the price they bought, we will be talking cash per share around 70 sen or same as current share price. Maybe the Major shareholders are so afraid to let financial community know about the “richness” of this counter, they take the green pill method, so that vulture investors wont attack them....

Dun rope in shareholder to waste the opportunity cost in land. Focus on ROE. Get the Act together to improve the core competencies in automotive electronics parts supply.

It will be better to update Bursa and Securities Commission that the Board did not fulfil what they set up to fulfil in their circular to shareholder to build hospital.

Wasted 28 mil into an "investment property" which should be utilized to build more plant to strengthen their position as preferred vendor to the automotive companies.

@Automan based on your knowledge in this industry, if the whole car, parts and engine of Proton is all imported from China, can it still be considered National Car? Will the new SUV model be taxed as the same like Honda HRV or Mazda CX5 then?

As i personally put it, whatever possible news on take-over etc have been more than 3 quarters and i reckon that it is highly unlikely got deal anymore. You guys please continue party with SIG and I would like to leave first before the party door is shut! :P

@cinakuih sorry to hear that you incurred losses in this counter. But you are still considered a wiser one. Those who believe sky is a limit and trees grow in the sky will still jump in to this SIG pool. No point join a game which you know the final results wont favour you. You'll be proven as a wise one come 2018.

It has been an open secret and it caused so many believers. The timing is so right. It is speculated that the suitor could be Linde, Praxair, Air Liquide, Messers or even Iwatani! Riding the wave of worldwide gas industry consolidation, e.g. Air Liquide with Airgas in USA and the hostile take-over in China for its largest gas player Yangde etc. Also, remember that the news broke out on the AGM date from the Star newspaper or The Edge that SIGGAS is a potential candidate for take-over.

I only have this to say, this stock is heavily controlled by certain quarters. If you had made money from this counter, be appreciate. If you are thinking of speculate more money from this counter at current price level, let me remind you that it only traded at RM0.50 in the beginning of the year.

3rd Q results will be out by 27 November and by then an interim dividend can be expected.
