Firstly, there is a very sensible signal from finance minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz that, subject to approval from experts, the number of daily new cases may no longer be used as the primary guide for the NRP and may be replaced by severity indicators and deaths.

Economic recovery can follow quickly from a new scenario for the management of the health challenges and we should all welcome the changes in tone that we have seen on this over the last few days.

Just like influenza, a person can keep getting infected as time passes by… whenever he exposed himself in close proximity to other infected people or in crowded places or in contact with people with poor hygiene or at dirty/unhygienic places…
