Next question is... Whether it’s realistic to hope for Full lockdown to end by 14th June and Phase 2 can start on 15th June?

My personal observation (as a non-medical expert, citizen of Msia) is that,

Based on 14-21 days ‘incubation period’ before an infected person displays covid-19 symptoms...... It makes sense that daily new cases should keep rising and peak by early next week ie from start of MCO3 (12th May until 7th June).

So, the week of 8-14 June should show much reduced daily new covid cases.....IF the MCO3 (started 12th May) is proven successful ie majority people are Co-operative and Followed SOPs.

If what PM said about possible to allow only vaccinated people to travel interstate and travel overseas.....
there may be ‘pressure’ from local tourist n hotel industry to then ask PM to start allowing interstate travels when 5.0 million adults aldy got vaccinated (20% of adults population).

“If the phase 1 total lockdown is successful in reducing daily COVID-19 cases, the government will implement a four-week phase 2 lockdown by allowing the reopening of a few economic sectors that do not involve large gatherings.
Phase 2 lockdown will last four weeks. 

Once the phase 2 lockdown ends, the next step is phase 3, which is implementing a movement control order (MCO) similar to the current one in effect, where social activities are not allowed and nearly all economic sectors are allowed to operate subject to strict standard operating procedures and limited physical presence at workplaces,” the PMO said.

However, the decision to move from one phase to the next will be subject to the health ministry’s risk assessment, and will be based on the daily caseloads and the hospitals' capacity to treat COVID-19 patients.

The government will also increase the number of vaccine deliveries in the space of the next few weeks in the effort to develop herd immunity in the country”

Genting only requires govts to allow the group to open its businesses, that’s all. Genting in US, UK, Spore all opened for business..... Except Msia.

If today Msia allows interstate travels and Mal-Sg land borders open, prices would be way higher than 4.91 now.....could easily surpass 6.0 la... Hahaha

If Msia can achieve 80% of population vaccinated,

PM must allow re-opening of interstate travels, can consider Allow shorter quarantine or no quarantine for travellers from some countries, and consider Open MAL-SIN borders at Causeway n at Linkedua....

The above would be the last jigsaw puzzle to number 8.0.....Genting Huat Huat Huat!
