For shares, very unlikely fund mgrs would sell on month-end if prices moved against their targets. So, not necessary fund managers would sell shares only on last day of the month, in my personal view.

Window dressing on last day of month or quarter usually occurs for Cash at hand, trade receivables or trade payables...That’s y some companies ‘delay’ their payments on last day of month or year, sometimes in order to show ‘healthier’ accounts.
