Since hitting YTD high of 1867.5 on 27 Apr, KLCI had retraced 3.3% or 62.4 pts to 1805.1 yesterday. Although there is still room to fall and market may trap in sideways consolidations for a while (unless staging a decisive breakout above 200-d SMA near 1817 again) given the uncertain external outlook and the lack of local fresh catalysts, we may witness potential sound supports near 1793 (100-d SMA) levels, supported by the formation of recent hammer and ladder candlesticks, grossly oversold slow stochastic and ahead of the tabling of 11th Malaysian Plan in Parliament on 21 May.

Tomorrow index will test 1800, volume will be thin ...FRIDAY! Be cautious all market are consolidating...including KLCI. Another external factor to consider is Greece debt. Yesterday pay back only 200m euros n an extension to next wee 12 May k for another balance 750mUS (Total 1billion debt to pay in May) failing which?... So be careful, trade at own risk! Observe our KLCI index if it breaks1842, next level is 1820. Be careful, volume is thin not much buyer everyone unloaded or hold onto to shares to pick up! Last week Thursday was the oversold period where funds mgrs were unloading to clear position. I unloaded last Thursday too while I was at the airport in Manila to board the flight. NOT THE TIME TO BUY, it's still consolidating. Not only the share price consolidating but KLCI as well. It has run up since Oct last year! It needs to consolidate in order to Hv the momentum to move up further! Don't expect KLCI n share prices to go up everyday!!! Plus other Global external n Internal factor to consider. It says " The latest GOLDEN CROSSINGS OF 50 days.....however it may not happen this week but later....to test the historical high 1,896.2. Pls read n pick up the key points/ message! Always remember this strategy" every counter that runs up its only 2-3 days play only. Once They collected enough at low price n will push it up, retailers come in to ride on it.
