IQ Group Holdings (TP MYR1.84 – BUY) 9MFY14 Results Review: 9MFY14 Earnings Improved to RM10.8m

IQ’s 9MFY14 results were above our estimates. Its revenue and net profit of MYR134.3m and MYR12.7m accounted for 85% and 97% of our full-year forecast. We revised our FY14F earnings higher with revenue and net profit up by 2% and 6% to reflect the better-than-expected results. Overall, IQ reported a good set of 9MFY14 results, primarily due to higher sales of its new products, improved efficiencies and favourable foreign exchange rates. We believe that IQ Group should rightfully have comparable valuations to its closest peer, Everspring, which is currently trading at 2.05x P/BV based on the book value as at end-Sept 2013. Based on IQ’s MYR1.14 book value as at 31 Dec 2013, IQ’s share price could be worth MYR2.28 if it commands the same 2x P/BV. We are reiterating our BUY call on IQ, with an unchanged MYR1.84 FV pegged to FY15F P/E of 12.5x .
