Looking at the COVID19 patient numbers graph. Fortunately Malaysia government took a fast action to cut off the spread chain with best efforts (of cos still have some stubborn fools).

Anyway, since it will stabilized soon in the disease side, Government next action plan is to boost local economy.

For Eden, i still think that we have better position since ECRL:

1) Firstly, is majority funded by China Company (more technically is by China Government Insurance Agency, and it will mostly wont affected by Malaysia Budget and Funding)

2) Second, it will create quite a lot of job opportunities (local and foreign)

3) Third, the economies of scale (it will help a lot of local landowners, contractors, developers, suppliers and related service providers)

It is about the time already, today is 25 March 2020.

Soon and later the expiry of public inspection is going to expired, i.e. 14 April 2020. Wishing for the good news to be announced soon.

Still holding tightly unless any further update (touchwood, say if cancellation of ECRL or current PM runtuh). At this juncture no more top up or sell down. See what happen afterwards.

Brothers, since the temporary movement restriction until 31 March 2020 for private and government sector except for those essentials. At least we need to wait until April if there is any announcement.

My opinion, lock down is good:

1) We don't have enough facemask supplies daily, only around 170k per day which in one day will trigger into bigger spread if no any actions taken.

2) Can reset the whole malaysia cases. So later only focus on clearing those existing. The end we only need to control the imigresen in and out and waiting for vaccine only

I foresee this is good news soon to all Malaysian.

Today market cannot be too good.

Everyone, shares may up and down all the time, this is secondary to our life. Importantly, 2020 the best wish to all is stay healthy and keep ourselves away from Corona-virus.

So importantly, still the announcement of ECRL playing a very crucial component to Eden future fundamental. That can solve 2 things:

1) Better cash flow position of the Company and restructuring of the debt financing
2) Future development prospect in Kuantan (Kuantan Lands as Investment Properties, about 85% worth of their NTA)

I believe if compare to "Muhyiddin PM" factor, the announcement of ECRL balance land compulsory acquisition will play a big part to the further share price movement.

Just done some study. The annual report 2018 stated the status of Eden power stations.

Power Station 1: Sabah Sandakan (Stratavest Power Station). The concession to be expired on Dec 2019 and the asset in account books already fully depreciated (no cost). Currently still maintaining 50% capacity to serve the Sabah demand. So if there is any further expension of concession, then meaning the company is running the operations without any building cost (original cost - fully amortised and depreciated) but only additional improvement cost only.

Power Station 2: Hydrostation. Commencing operations on 2000 and 30 years concession given (2030 expired).

Meaning worst scenario, Stratavest Power Station concession is not renewed, then no more further impairment cost (loss to company) to Eden books. However, this is unlikely the concession not being renewed, as based on Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) Annual Report 2017 & 2018, Sabah East Coast currently short of stable electricity supply and insufficient new scaleable power station. And based on previous PH government, it is proposed to have a RM10m budget to upgrade (2019 Aug done the due diligence of Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd <Eden earlier entered the concession with this company> Sabah East Coast Supply)

Anyhow, another thing puzzle me is the Stratavest Power Station in Sandakan. Is there any insider news for the status of renewal of concession with Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd?

I just doubt most of the Eden Investors are not attend to the public inspection of ECRL. They already show you the route alignment including the proposed design of Kuantan Port City 2 (Proposed Freight Station and Depot).

For Eden Land Depot and Maintenance now is only pending announcement and also official gazette from State Government, possibly after the public inspection expiry 14 April 2020.

And based on the public inspection information match against the land searches and Pahang State Land Zoning Mapping, the other 2 pieces of Eden lands (just beside Lot 8911) proposed industrial development plan will remained unchange which i believe the industrial factories there can support cargo handling.

Current Liabilities included a RM30m warranty provision for their LED products

For Non-Current Assets, there is a amount owing by holding Company RM60+m which have the assignment of land (kuantan lands, believed is related to ECRL land).

So if you add and minus, the cashflow is sustainable.

So now the Key Question - whether ECRL lands are realiable or not, if yes, then the Company will have net cash to run positively d because it will relate to the holding company repayment of RM60m and also the realisation of EDEN land as well.

Ya, the fundamental is weak if there is no physical announcement.

But, please analyse this way. If invest in shares, we only see the confirmed surface (news) then we may have some issues to our investments (either mislead by fake news or the price already factored in the confirmed news).
