1 why no major shareholder owns warrant?
2.why no director own any share and warrant if the company has a good future?

Mr Choo had said last yr that bcoz of the low margins of construction biz ..it does not make sense to borrow money to fund projects bcoz of the high cost of funds...what is the point of earning a mere 8-10% and give 5-8% to the banks?

2017 is an interesting and challenging year for vivo believers ..hope we will end up being rewarded for trusting the management despite the recents poor results which according to midf is bcoz of expected high mobilization costs ...according to an article in the new straits times last yr ..vivo needs time to show a reasonable profits for its construction segment so that they can be elevated to main board 2nd half of this yr.

If the various plans do no materialised then we can say bye bye to our $$$$

note that vivo is a counter where shortselling is allowed ..so we must not panic

so vivo shares have strong fundamentals ..

based on the orderbook of RM 2.3billion which has to be completed by 2018 according to midf, it wld mean that sales per year is about RM 1.1billion for 2017 and 2018!!!. at 8% profit after tax shd b at least RM 88 million !!.

If Construction segment can expand, then 2017 year and beyond would be interesting .. Lets wait for the announcement of Gemas-JB award, which according to the newspaper, will be announced in March 2017. If even this vivo is unable to win then it is game over for vivo.

Lets wait for Q4 result to be announced next Tuesday 28th Feb 2017 at the latest and the corresponding comments by the management before deciding our next move.

MIDF had said that Q4 profit could b low...so what is the reason for the run up ? Announcement of huge project secured? Could b. If it is not, the big boys is making a 22% return at 18sen as they wld have bought at 15.5sen ..so for RM 40million, it means a cool RM 8million return for one just one month's work!!!!

No inside news bro ..just speculation and trying to put two and two together ...midf report and continuous drop in share price ....

Dont expect a good Q4 2016 result when it is announced on the 28th February 2017 bcoz they hv achieved 2016 profit target ..I suspect they will charge the bulk of their pre-commencements expenses to Q4 as commented by MIDF Research so that 2017 will show better financials. This would explain the continuous decline in share price. So we have to wait till April to see any goodies before the AGM in May 2017.

Read the latest Edge weekend page 20 RM 8.9b Gemas-JB double-tracking .... "Alliance DBS Research expects local players with established relationships with 3 Chinese companies to have a slight edge. The contract, if it really happens NEXT MONTH will be a boost to the sector." So guys Vivocom could still be in the play besides Gamuda,MMC,IJM,WZ Satu.

Finally, in Capital Page 42 .under Off Market Trades .you will see there have been many block trades (BB) and cross trades (XT) for the last 2 months.

Curious2 vivocom and gamuda do different aspects of the railway job.....so lets just wait and see but for the moment dont buy and expect quick short term gains ..we cannot win when there are so many sharks waiting to swaĺlow small fish like us ..

Foregoing 2-4 sens to see if vivo is for real this time around is a small sacrifice in this highly uncertain times. Nothing wrong if we have to buy at 18 or 20sen if vivo is confirmed to be heading towards 30sen.

We can never have it all, but "confirmation" can only happen if Mr Choo and gang announce that they have secured Gemas JB contract and plan to mainboard is close to finality. Nothing else is gonna move this share coz ..once bitten twice shy

Dont jump in until it reaches 20sen if you are a speculator...or we could be falling into their trap again..after it reaches 20sen we will reassess. Ok guys?

Both cimb and midf 2016 forecasts for Vivo are below the actual achievement ..As for 2017, cimb is much much more bullish than midf. Cimb 2017 assumings RM 3billion revenue while midf's is a mere RM 1billion. In any case, the target share prices are based on 2017 forecasts if i m not wrong. If vivocom can achieve RM 100billion profit aftee tax, it deserves a share price of at least 25sen using the sum-of-parts method.

Don't despair, because vivo have sd in their Q3 report that they have contract on hand that are for the next 2-3 years. This is excluding Gemas-JB which Mr Choo said vivo is quite likely to get a piece of the action. I am sure since crcc is the primary developer for bandar malaysia's central train station ..vivo could also be a potential beneficiary.

Lastly, why i had proposed that we don't buy vivo at 16sen and above now,UNLESS YOU INTEND TO KEEP FOR THE LONG TERM, is firstly, sharks hv bought at 15.5sen so 16sen and above will give them immediate short term profits ..if they had bought say RM 4million at say 15.5sen, 16sen will give them a cool profit of RM 150k.

But if you buy to keep for long term, then buy buy buy.. just an opinion and sharing of information gathered not advice to buy or sell. Judgment is yours.

Someone had asked if we don't buy at 16sen or higher how can the share price rise.... well i am a small ikan bilis ..so i wont be able to buy that much that causes the share price to keep on rising ....the big sharks with deep pocket can do it lah ..we mana boleh?
