Why I see so many sell q at 7.5sen? Someone taking profit?

Don't ever hope dividend from Glotec. I followed it many years.

I don't to go Holland buying at 7.5 sen like you.

No way. I take profit from Glotec 7.5 sen after buying at 5 sen last week.

Despite all the promotions(by richkid) XOX profit actually down(633K from 659K) compared to last quarter meaning company is generating huge expenses for promotional activities but nothing(dividend) for shareholders.

Better sell Glotec and buy cheaper 6 sen Xinghe. Xinghe can give 0.2 sen dividend this year and even higher dividend next year. Glotec never paid a single sen dividend.

6 sen Xinghe paid 0.2 sen dividend this year. How much dividend can Glotec pay me at 6.5 sen? 0.3 sen? 0.5 sen? 0.7 sen?

XOX remind me of G Packet. What is good for consumer not necessarily good for company because heavy discounting mean less profit margin for XOX. XOX is not a monopoly because have to fight against more establish incumbents like Digi, Maxis, etc.

I am still holding. Major news is next month QR. Likely making profit so Xinghe become cheapest profitable and dividend paying stock. We must make sure Xinghe close everyday at least 6.5sen until QR news.

If Xinghe not good please tell me which counter cheaper than Xinghe that give dividend. Perhaps I am outdated so don't know which other counters is better(my criteria is must give dividend because Xinghe dividend policy is 15% for 3 years).

Xinghe paid 0.2sen dividend but Frontkn 0 despite share price about 3X higher.

sky2 since you quote kcchongnz may I know why Frontkn does not pay dividend unlike even cheaper Xinghe(1/3 Frontkn price). KC Chong mention in his blog dividend is very important. How can Frontkn miss it?

I have explained that DDM provides a simple way to value stocks based on the dividends that they pay, and dividends are real cash investors receive. As sustainable dividend pay-out is only possible if the company has a history of making good profits which are translated to free cash flows (FCF) every year. Basing on the history of FCF and dividend pay-out by the company, we can make reasonable good assumption that the future would resemble the past.

kent98 why no question on local stocks accounting but a lot on China counters? Many local stocks never give dividend at all. Among I know are XOX, Frontkn, PM Corp, etc.
