Does anyone know when the free warrants will be "credited" to ones account? I have not received mine..has anyone received theirs?
Thanks to clarify if you are in the know regarding this.

Media coming to life...been a laggard too long! Apparently MS sees value in this counter that locals fail to see (?). Agree 1.10-1.20 is doable in the immediate term with the current bullish run though I am no technical expert! :-)

Agree with ktsk88....SC should step in to give the SPAC model a chance to survive, otherwise why have SPACs in the first place. CLIQ should be a good learning experience for SC and they should initiate measures to make SPACs see the light of day and give good business propositions a chance to succeed. The shareholders watch group should play a role here too to safeguard interest of the local shareholders, otherwise foreign funds can easily "hijack" (with their financial resources) a long term potential business success for short term gains. Looks like Credit Suisse has learnt well and using the SPACs in Malaysia for short term / quick gains....although it is their right to do so.

Me too learn the hard way with this conman...:-( ...but I do acknowledge that I have to take responsibility for buying based on his self proclaimed "wisdom"

SONA should be given a chance to continue with an asset that holds promise. There are worse companies out there (non-SPAC) who leave much to be desired in terms of their assets and financial performance.
The rights and interests of shareholders who supported the QA should also be considered, taking into account the fact that those who attended the EGM (i.e the non-proxies and not the yield investors) the support exceeded the 75% requirement for a YES .
The SC should do what is right in supporting the company to remain listed after the dissenters (~77%) have been paid, if SPACs as an alternative to tap into the capital market are to survive.
The structural issues with SPAC should be addressed by the SC to ensure that long term investors are seriously taken into consideration and that SPAC (now and in future) continue to see the light of day especially when the QA has been approved by the SC itself!

Well said WarenBufet..agree with you to go for the medium to long term!...and lets be "greedy when others are fearful"

I too agree that SC should provide a waiver to the 75% shareholders approval so that SPACs see "the light of day" as investment vehicles rather than one to go in for short term yield gains or to make "quick killings". Over to you SC !
Where is the MSWG in all these...looks like they could not care less (??) . If they do what is their position on this and can they provide an explanation as to why they were not at the last EGM which was a crucial time for shareholders , immaterial whether they were for or against the QA

With the adjournment, SONA has been given another chance by shareholders to realize the value from the STAG acquisition and be a long term player in the O&G industry.
Datuk Saw Cho Boon gave a very clear, detailed and convincing presentation as to why this so, and, I must say thanks and give him due credit for it. But there are some players going for a "quick kill" and these dissenters perhaps fail to see value (though it is their right to say NO). There is a saying "some men go through the forest and see no firewood" so lets see the "firewood" in SONA!
I believe the adjournment did justice to those who said NO without due consideration of the capital repayment (which was announced later after the proxy votes had been submitted). Lets hope the next EGM does justice to SONA, to all shareholders and to the employees.

Will be at the EGM to say YES both as a proxy and shareholder!

Three cheers for SONA! Well done in "staying the course" and not being taken in by the sceptics. Hope SONA management will use a majority YES vote to continue to manage the company prudently and realize value to shareholders in the coming months and years. Three cheers also to the shareholders who voted YES giving consideration to the employees whose job would be on the line with a NO vote!

Yes lets vote YES to realize the true value of the warrants and to benefit from the capital repayment for those holding the mother share as well. SONA has displayed the right moves and strategy to benefit investors. Lets not take the word of the sceptics who do not add value to the factual discussions!!

A YES decision will certainly help a local company grow and generate economic activity which is much needed and also help protect jobs. Though some may argue that they are pure investors with one end in mind i.e. to make money (perfectly ok!) and will not consider such factors. The choice is between quick profits (though some may have waited a while) versus investing long term and having faith in a local company to help realize better value for their invetment. I know emotions don't count. The fact is ClIQ and SONA are two different "animals". As I recall CLIQ did not even have a QA at near to expiry date. My 2 sens worth! and I hope it will be a YES for SONA's sake and patient investors !

Decide based on the information from SONA and your own assessment. Contrary to what kareemabduljabbar is saying SONA and its VP have done a good job of explaining and clarifying the many questions posed, if you care to read and understand! In any case to each his own and to decide based on your own assessment. May the force be on the side of those who say YES (me included) on the 30th March !!!! :-)

Thank you Datuk Seri Saw ....trust that SONA is headed in the right direction and that the SONA team will not let down those voting YES

rohank, good advice on why SONA shareholders should vote for a YES. Agree that voting for a YES benefits all, the optimists (me and quite a number here) and the "diehard" NO (one obvious one in the many posts above :-))

Thanks SONA for the information contained in the slides, reinforces my YES vote!

I will reiterate a vote for YES on SONA! This is based on the good job they have done to halve the purchase price for STAG with cash reserves available to boost production. Lets vote YES to a company that has done all the right things and with potential to reward shareholders in future.

I will also go with a YES for SONA! A solid QA and with people who know the business and I hope that the big funds think the same :-)
