Cautious week ahead!

We had witness relief rally when Fitch upgrade Malaysia outlook to stable! However, volume suggest funds are not buying aggressively! Probably waiting after Raya or external outlook surrounding Greece and US interest rate hike! Having said that, I don't see much upside at the moment until funds push daily volume to 2 billion daily! Be cautious! Take profit if relief rally dies out! Probably traders will have their fun next week! Looking at China and Hong Kong major correction, it is timely to read about margin financing post by KC Chong! I suggest those who want to dive into margin financing to read KC Chong articles to avoid unnecessary stock debts due to speculation! Before some low brainers shouting their empty heads here, I didn't say bursa in bearish nor bullish! All I am saying is go with the tide! Without funds especially foreign funds, bursa will probably sideways! Probable it is timely for some to take a break from bursa and enjoy the coming Raya! Selamat Raya!

Oh, and forget Mahathir vs Najib! Once Najib pull Proton as sole taxi provider, Mahathir will hide in Proton and close shop! Don't give in to Mahathir lies through the Edge, WSJ and Sarawak Report! We had enough of 22 years of Mahathir deceive, do you want Mahathir to rule us through new PM via proxy! It's too obvious Mahathir wants Najib to bailout Proton via 2 billion so called R&D capital injection, and continue Proton as sole provider for both taxi and government vehicles, easy money via Mahathir cronies though energy IPP, mega projects, hidden services charges and many more!

Wall Street Journal (WSJ) today defended its investigative article accusing the prime minister of embezzlement saying it was based on government investigations the report of which was seen by Najib Abdul Razak himself.

In its report yesterday, WSJ revealed that almost US$700 million in 1MDB's funds had been deposited into Najib's private bank accounts through proxies.

"It is a serious investigation. The documents that we saw have been shared with the Malaysian attorney-general and others in the government.

"So they have been seen and seen by the prime minister," said WSJ Hong Kong bureau chief Ken Brown in an interview with CNBC.

Najib, through his political secretary, had threatened to take legal action against WSJ.

However, Brown said WSJ stood by its report.

"We are very careful and we believe the investigation and documents we have are solid and come from reliable investigations and not a political investigation.

"It is a significant story and we take it very seriously.

Subsequent trail unknown

"Any time you see the leader of a country has been […] at least the evidence showed money flowing into his personal accounts and tied to government deals, it is hugely dramatic," he said.

Brown said the money trail ended at Najib's bank accounts and he did not know where the money subsequently went to.

Najib has vehemently denied the allegation.

"I have never taken funds for personal gain as alleged by my political opponents – whether from 1MDB, SRC International or other entities, as these companies have confirmed," he said.

He had also questioned WSJ's sources which cited Malaysian government investigators.

However, Brown noted that this response was no different from the prime minister's previous responses on 1MDB.
