从去年开始，市场就一直有传言，指怡保工程有意放盘，脱售IJM种植，消息传了整一年，却一直没有成事。
最近传言再起，IJM种植会被其它种植集团收购，或是合并为更大的种植集团呢？那家财团掏得出13亿令吉或更高价格，拿下怡保工程种植呢？让我们一起了解IJM种植＂内涵＂有什麽好料呢？
IJM种植的股价RM1.70，二零一七年六月以前，股价一直都在RM3.00以上，如今可说折了一半价格。
去年曾传出IOI集团（IOICORP）和合成实业（HAPSENG）有意收购丹斯里陈振南家族控制的这家公司。
但是只闻楼梯响，十月初，市场又传出，马来大亨丹斯里赛莫达和森那美集团是，是有意收购该公司的个人和财团。
IJM种植拥有73,061（180,537英亩）公顷园地，其中60633公顷（149,827英亩）已种植，1760公顷保留地。
如果单是算已种植园，用13亿令吉买下149,827英亩油棕园，相等於每英畝不足RM9,000，这价格显然非常吸引人。
该集团已种植的60633公顷油棕园，有35,852英亩在印尼，其它在马来西亚。

种在印尼的油棕树，52%是四至七年树龄的幼树，38%树龄介八至二十年，仅有6%是树龄超20年的老树。
这些条件的确叫同行动心，但是它在二零一八财政年却蒙受4400万令吉净亏损，这损及其公司价值。
截至今年六月卅日第一季，它蒙受470万令吉亏损，比去年同期净亏1950万令吉大幅收窄。
IJM种植的低迷，是否值得你将它纳入投资名单？就要看你用那一个角度评估，然而，有一点可以说的是，它目前的股价，下跌空间不会太大，反之，若原棕油行情好转，其前景有望逆转。
