Based on FACTS guys ?? VIPs caught breaching MCO, are these not FACTS ? Malaysians have yet to see actions from the authorities, all they hv done is merely questioning and todate no actions taken !! Why the need to do questioning ? It's ARREST & NOT QUESTIONING. Ordinary citizens, does PDRM do questioning ??? Malaysians are not stupid. WE are watching ..... ACTIONS to prove your INTEGRITY & CREDIBILITY, PDRM !!

No need to pusing here n there. When are the main belakang incompetent imbeciles been hauled up, spend a day or two in the lockup, be fined and have a criminal record attached to their profiles? When? If not, Why? While ordinary Malaysians are hauled up.

He did not suffer impairment in brain development. He grew up intelligent, but little bit dishonest. He rose up in politics by advocating favoritism for his own kind. He did not care for his country which continued to lag behind in the third world while a part of it, Singapore ,rose into the first world.

And It should not be just a matter of paying a fine. The deputy minister should be dragged to court in handcuffs and charged.

The government is asking everyone to stay at home but Noor Azmi was running around freely despite the MCO is still enforced. He must be punished the same way as all the others. No one should be spared.

The police must be fair to all. If not, those who were arrested and charged should file a suit against the inspector-general of police (IGP) and the police for abusing their powers and being bias in applying the law.

.......This is a very careless and irresponsible act, especially in visiting a tahfiz school. And to make matters even worse, it’s was by a deputy minister and an entourage to boot!

It just takes one person in that motley crew who is an asymptomatic carrier to spread it throughout the school. We can just hope none of them is, for the sake of all those children there.

Go figure it out. The golfers were fined and jailed. The jogger in Penang dragged to court. The group of funeral attendees were hauled to court too.

But here in the case of the deputy minister and PAS executive Councillor, it’s a case of “see first”.

So, what conclusion you expect the man on the street to draw from it?

Noor Hisham has shown Malaysians how to act as a professional and be seen as one in the eyes of the world.

You don't need to build the tallest building on earth or send a person to space to earn respect. Just be seen to do your work as entrusted, even when people around you are busy with their political scheming. This is what he has taught Malaysians.

Thank you, director-general

Yes quellingblaster, We cannot but be proud of the dedication and commitment of Malaysian NGOs very involved in the epicenters of social miscarriage like Tenaganita or Cassa.

While its obvious of that eerie silence and non reaction from Malaysia's Kementerian Sumber Manusia or their best dressed minister!

Even embarrasing is the lacklustre response and incompetence of foreign embassies here namely, the Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar, Indonesia and India's Indian-Muslims?

Is it because of that deep rooted fear that they fear unlocking that Pandora Box of their documented, mostly undocumented and others who have abused the tourist visas to work here?

Malaysia has already called out the embassies!

Where are they?

It is time the no nonsense tolerating Hishammudin made personal calls to their ambassadors here.

Failing which, lets have a massive range of arrest and deportations of illegals here.

Kita tak nak satu situasi mana - kera dihutan diberi susu tapi anak kat rumah mati kebulurohan!

Since there are no more major contracts to be awarded for payback then gaji buta posts helming GLC is next best choice other than being appointed as special envoy or advisor . My suggestion is why not allow them to operate nation wide abide a shorter hours & practice sosial distancing where each shop allow 4 to 5 customers to go in & q 1 m apart & insist all to wear mask. At present some state allow but some do not . Just a suggestion only.

There is now more than sufficient evidence to show it does help to reduce the viral load which is presumed to cause a more fatal illness if not prevent it altogether .

Let me ask you something . Lets say you have a wife , son and daughter, elderly father and mother and someone tells you wearing a mask may be able to help reduce spread from an asymptomatic individual or you getting it from someone in public .

Then you have another saying it is is not uselul and only the sick should use it .

So for the five days a person with Covid 19 does not know they have it and spread it exponentially to many hundreds and especially close to them . Now lets say your family members get admitted to ICU and die and you are responsible all because you are not wearing one or a family friend you told no need to wear one gave it to them . You would regret telling everyone the verdict is not in so no need to wear a mask .

Its not rocket science that everyone going into public should wear a mask when the verdict is confusing . For me as a Medical Professor I would not like to be responsible for such catastrophic loss of life if I was wrong about only the sick should wear a mask but tell everyone why take a chance and all should wear a mask . After all it is so cheap and easy to make one if you dont already have one .

Be sensible and just wear a cloth mask or if you lucky to have previous stocks of surgical or N95 just wear it and dont argue so that you wont regret causing the death of many innocent lives especially that of your family . Better still dont write articles like this to cause people not to wear a mask at this crucial time and be responsible for thousands of deaths if your advise turns out to be wrong. Its time to play safe and there is no harm in playing safe.

The East Asia countries have proven the importance of wearing mask ! Not wearing mask is one of the main reason why Covid19 spread like wild fire in Europe-America; those r the people that have the wrong concept traditionally, that only the sicks would wear mask. Now that these HYPOCRITES , for the sake of reserving enough mask for the frontliners, have advocated the wrong information to the public in fighting this deadly virus, which would be the most stupid approach to contain Covid19.

Govt should introduce free mass testing post-MCO — Lim Kit Siang

post-MCO, when ppl in the high risks areas in known clusters are tested, identify, isolated & treated, it is timely to move mass testing of the population, pending the availability of new vaccines to deal with covid19.

Mass testing is the only way to identify the silent asymptomatic carriers who can spread the covid19 virus to ppl, n eradicate the menace from our population.

Essentially, workers get as much as two-thirds of their pay even if they don’t work. And the company is not burdened by staff costs in times of severe economic stress.

The German government expects some 2.35 million people to be drawing “Kurzarbeitergeld” during the Covid pandemic, which could cost the German Federal Labor Office more than 10 billion euros.

In United Kingdom pandemic economics, the government is covering 80 per cent of workers’ pay, up to 2,500 pounds a month.

The Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, should give serious consideration to these good practices for the Covid-19 pandemic economics for his long-awaited second economic rescue package, which should prioritise the government’s rescue of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) omitted in his first rescue package.

Malaysia’s Covid-19 testing capability is now increased to 11,500 a day and aims to reach 16,500 a day. When the Covid-19 outbreak began, Malaysia’s testing capability was only at 3,500 a day.

As part of a “whatever it takes” approach to win the invisible war against Covid-19, the government should immediately ramp up Covid-19 testing in Malaysia to introduce mass testing freely and widely available to all Malaysians so that
Covid-19 mass testing becomes a vital post-movement control order (MCO) strategy to revive the Malaysian economic engine.

The third war is for Malaysia to survive and win the post-MCO coronavirus pandemic economics.

In Germany, Covid-19 pandemic economics will see almost half a million companies in Germany sending their staff on short-term working schemes — known as “Kurzarbeit” — to trim their payroll costs with immediate effect.

Short-term working worked well as a tool to prevent massive layoffs during the last financial crisis in 2008. It sends people home or slashes their hours substantially, but keeps them officially employed with the state funding around two-thirds of their salary.

Second, we must win the public health war against Covid-19, to contain the transmission of the novel coronavirus. Until a vaccine against Covid-19 is developed in 12 — 18 months’ time, social distancing through lockdown is the only way to break the chain of transmission and “flatten the curve”.

We must boost the Covid-19 testing facilities to track down people with symptoms, identify their contacts and quarantine them until they are no longer infectious, as well as ramping up the number of ventilators and hospital beds.

South Korea had been among the most aggressive when it comes to testing. The country prioritised identifying and isolating people testing positive for the disease, and developed capacity to run about 15,000 diagnostic tests a day. It has conducted more than 300,000 tests to date, free of charge, including in drive-through testing booths since replicated elsewhere.
