Zelan Berhad (“Company”) would like to announce that Zelan – Hasrat Sedaya Consortium (“ZHSC”) (an unincorporated consortium comprising Zelan Construction Sdn Bhd (Company No. 246123-D), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zelan Berhad, and Hasrat Sedaya Sdn Bhd (Company No. 219211-K)), has on 4 August 2016 received a Letter of Acceptance (“LOA”) from Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd, for the tender submitted by ZHSC for Projek Penswastaan Lebuhraya Bertingkat Sungai Besi – Ulu Kelang Package SUKE-CB2 – Construction and Completion of Mainline and Other Associated Works from CH. 15000 to CH.16700 (“Works”). ZHSC is required to acknowledge the LOA within seven (7) days from the date of the LOA.

The Works cover along Jalan Taman Putra for approximately 1.7 km.

The Contract Sum is Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Fifty Seven Million Six Hundred Eight Thousand Two Hundred Nine and Cent Two (RM257,608,209.02) only.

The contract duration is thirty (30) months, commencing on the Date for Possession of the Site on 29 August 2016.

None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract.

This Announcement is dated 4 August 2016.
