This is not a fundamentally good stock. Its volatile earning will make it pe low(fair given by the market). Aware of it high gearing ratio. If you invest with small bet, is ok to hold. but you are like some traders I notice to all in with one-sided bias, it is very risky. Good luck.

short term batch 10000shares buy below 2.90++ had been cleared on price near 3.12-3.16....No greediness involved. Long term, there are two batch...Price are relatively high...but I choose to take profit first. Like I say before, share price speaks for everything. I wont be surprised if it surge to 3.20-3.30 today or within this week and slowly crawled back to 3.60....That is a long way to go. My capital is limited. How I wish myself to all in at 2.8++ but at that moment who dares to do so? and retailers like us, I believe our capital is limited and had to diversified to different stocks...If the company is good, it will slowly return to its peak.
Genm up or down, my concerns been significantly reduced coz I can choose to attack or defense.
This is the risk management I learn, rather than all in in one particular stock. Too high the stake.
the big reward always comes in with big risks.

Today a second day genm rebound significantly. if can close up by 3.14 today. I called it a spectacular day indeed. Remind, only foreign fund big enough had capacity to drive up the share price,plus fund remain positive on the boss news and stop dumping the share. only then the laws of supply and demand will move the price.Small retailers practically had no effect on the share price movement. so basically what we talk, curse, or comment had no effect on the movement. whether is hit or run, small profit or continue to be patient is belonged to everybody choice. One thing, the boss made the right speech and drive back little of the share price is good for everybody. The sour-grape commentators who wish to collect at 1.5 may have to wait longer. no offense.

today padini regains its buying strength....good job padini… A lot of sour-grape commentators pretending to be stock gods again saying this is piece of junk...worthy of 2.++….questioning the business model of padini and forecasting that padini is a sunset business. Share price performance speaks for everything. There is a value people buying padini up to RM6 a piece.i hope those people can be more modest. I am not saying padini will recover to its peak,neither do I say the price wont drop back to new low,3.15....but, judging from now, is difficult to go back coz a lot of waiting to buy-in at 2.++ must be desperate to buy when it drops back to the new low....so basically it wont happen. I am still holding share at 4.4something but I do make fast trading and earn up a bit. Temporarily I wont top up first. at least for another quarter to see how the company perform.
I always hope that padini will bring glory of Malaysia and be able to stand at the Southeast Asia platform. The investors who buy up to RM 6 a piece must have the same thoughts with me …

something puzzled me..the news that the theme park is reopen on schedule is delivered two days ago...but why the reactions on share reflected only on today? could it be another deep trap to all the retailers? btw..take profit for the short term trading on 2.94 @ 10 lot...lock in profit 120 excluding transaction cost. what to do with remaining? While no signals it might recover, only the boss knows what is happening inside the company. if really some key customers gradually pull out the orders, this is stil a high price. based on its earning which is not stable, I take this as a risky bet.

With today volume, I know there are a lot of people getting trapped, or burned..more or less.

current prospect: expect next qr to be ok. but the second half will be weak as declined order by a key customer. management will be in serious discussion to bring more order to fill the excess capacity.
my thought: The management is really clear with the profitability of the company. Risk is there. If they cannot bring in more order the capacity will be wasted . Who know? even the bosses donot know the future. I like this management becoz they are honest. Not like some corporate top bragging how profitable their company is but the result is always in red.
Nowadays , market sentiment is very weak. For a mid cap like vs......the times wil be tough.
I will not be surprised if it goes below RM1 in the coming days.

my opinion is … if the borrowing of fgv is too much, it will be able to pay the finance cost either..
plus the palm oil is at low price.
