We refer to the query from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") via their letter dated 14 August 2018 (Ref. No. IQL-14082018-00002) in relation to unusual market activity in the Company's shares trading activity recently.
In accordance with Paragraph 9.11 of Listing Requirements ("LR"), the Board of Directors of the Company, after making due inquiries with all the Directors and major shareholders of the Company, wishes to announce that to the best of their knowledge, the following:-
There are no corporate development in relation to the Group's business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the unusual market activity including those in the state of negotiation / discussion;
The Directors are not aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the Group that may account for the unusual market activity; and
The Directors are not aware of any other possible explanation to account for the trading activity.
The Group is continously pursuing and identifying new business opportunities in its ordinary course of business. As and when the Group enter into any agreement in relation to these oppotunities an immediate announcement will be made to the Exchange as per LR.
We also declare that the Company is in compliance with the LR, in particular Rule 9.03 of the LR on immediate disclosure obligations.
