I still wonder the reason why AA choose 29/8/2016(monday after 5pm) to release its Q2 result..as it only hv 1day (tuesday) for immediate market reaction, then wed.( 31/8 ) will b PH..a gap??.... Still i believe, AA will post stronger Q2 result as compared to previous quarter..

LONDON: Low-cost carrier AirAsia has ordered 200 more CFM LEAP-1A engines to power its 100 new Airbus A321neo aircraft which expects to deliver 15% fuel efficiency and reduction in carbon monoxide emissions.

It said on Wednesday the order, which expands its LEAP engine fleet to nearly 730 engines, is valued at US$2.7bil at list price.

AirAsia Group CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said this order for the larger A321neo “is an important element in our long-term growth and expansion strategy”

Tomorrow should break 2.8 , friday 2.85 b4 next correction? Unless good news keep coming out(Q2 results) then I shall expect share price is surging higher with few minor corrections in between.. should reach 3 or higher by announcement of (good) Q2 result in coming few weeks time

from below clue, AAX will show positive earning in next Q, but as big boss said it's very tough & not as great as Q1... i expect it to be around 100-150m,... anyway the Q2 2015 is all red, so it should be a good news...profit might be lower compared to Q12016 but as compared to Q2 last year, it's far better...but depends on how market will react...

Kamarudin told reporters after the company’s annual general meeting yesterday that the company had drawn a “very tough” budget to ensure the group meets its financial targets for 2QFY16.

“Right now, we are able to reach the targets [in 2QFY16]. It is not as great as 1QFY16, but as long as we can sustain [our momentum in] 2QFY16, we are still positive on 2QFY16,” he said. He also reiterated that the company expects to return to the black in the current financial year.

& dont forget about leasing business & special dividend..anytime it comes expected kaboom on AA share.....
