There is no reason a value investor would avoid Gadang at this moment. It is at a very good buying state. Net profit of last two quarters are better than that of the last year (2016Q2 > 2015Q2, and 2016Q1 > 2015Q1), meaning the ROE of 2016 is likely higher than of 2015. ROE has been increasing since 2013, as counting from 2015: 19.95 > 15.79 > 14.46 > 7.77. Most importantly, the DPS has been increasing as well, which is a sign of the dominant advantage of its current scale of operation in the field (more money to be distributed to shareholders means no reinvestment of profit into expansion needed to achieve the sustainable future growth). DPS has been growing since 2013, counting from 2015: 7 > 5 > 4 > 3 cents. The price chart has shown bullish coiled pattern too. We could actually just buy it now (or continue to accumulate), for a happy profit taking 3 months later or more.

A stock price would rise only when the buyer value it high and the sellers are taking profits in the same time. In another way, the seller may have made an overly low valuation on it and the buyers think the low price are golden opportunity to buy, then the price would drop. Will Karex have another reason to go up again? Certainly yes. It is the world largest CDM maker with convenient control and access to rubber supplies.

If you are short term player, wait for the price to have a pull back only enter a position. Once rebounce is confirmed, set a selling price which is your targeted price. Do not enter blimdly and expect easy profit. This counter is more for long-term investment.

If you can, try run a technical analysis to check its last price position against the SMA 50 of high. It is way up the line now. Means a breakout is likely to happen soon if the passing is based on newsbreak.

Ah good point. We can check also if Pasante has been a profit making company. Normally when a company buy another profitable company, share price would increase.

I would focus at how much revenue Pasante could bring later, as the market share of Karex has certainly expanded after the purchase and have more buyers from him later on. The acquisition money spent was really for this positive reason. You can of course take profit now if the price look correct to you. Good luck.

The current closing price is above its SMA50 of high too. A good sign of strong up-trend momentum. I'll keep watching for the coming trading days.

It is cutting its own SMA50 and SMA10, 20 is forming a golden cross. A bottom C is also formed around the SMA50 line. If the current market valuation is valid, it may start to trend up.

But it is always good to wait for the pull back for accumulating. As for your case, since you are planning to sell some for profit taking, you could make use of the current impulsive spikes too.

Skudai has many who work in Senai too, Tun Aminah, Tampoi area yes, mostly commute to Singapore to work. Bukit Indah is a nice place to stay too.

It depends on where you are talking about. Skudai Taman University used to have dirt cheap rental, but if you try area such as Taman Molek, Mount Austin, etc., those areas are not of equal standard.

Actually Calvin is right, the rental market in Johor is still hot. Many move from outside to stay in Johor, wishing to follow the track of the 80s, where people ride to Singapore daily to work as foreign labour wishing to retire wealthy later.

But not to ignore also the new trend of high rise building development in Johor. If you think this market is niche, you could own some over there. I believe condominiums are in overflow state now. I am now focusing more on Penang island but if you are into the southern region, it is still good.

Some years ago Setia's project appreciate in value handsomely.
