AA now is no longer a pure airline company, AA obviously has become a holding company with subsidiaries such as aviation, digital businesses, e-wallet/banking, travel agent, insurance, logitics, academy, foods and etc. Each of these subsidiary is managed by a individual management team, they are independent but linked. Obviously many still think AA is a rojak company doing everything with various departments and not in subsidiary mode. There is a huge difference between a holding company with subsidiaries and a company with various departments. This is one of the reason why AA is so much difference to AAX, in case someone still confused of this.
AA realised, the name of AA is no longer suitable for its holding business nature, therefore changing its name to Capital A, a more holding sounded name. AA name will still be used for its AA Aviation line.
As a holding company, they can list their subsidiaries when ready, unlike a stand-alone company, they cannot list their departments.
All the veterans here surely see the potential of a holding company compared to stand-alone company, former one with multi arms that can potentially plug into various fund raising markets, and the onther one can only plugged once. Simple math.

Those who subscribed to RCUIDS, no one ever knew if these 2 rich foxes (TF and KM) would have subcribed or not before the subscription results published, how they based their decision on these 2 foxes decision. Therefore those daring ones who subcribed to RCUIDS deserved a chicken rice after selling their free warrants.
Now we all knew these 2 foxes had fully subcribed, then this fact will supposed be taken as an indicator for all investors to evaluate AA before they act, not limited to only few.

The RCUIDS already transferred to both old foxes account (100% subcription by Tony and Kamarudin)

Well, Jan 7 is only a few days away. Anyway based on current share price, investors don't seem bullish on AA.

You scared me almost falling off from the chair, I checked the today's date several times to ensure I wasn't living in the wrong time horizon. These airlines have been existing for years already, where got so-called new kids "coming up", and which of these airlines are not facing finacial issues to survive like AA

Mind to shed some lights who are the new kids so daring to join budget airline sector soon in Asia at this moment of time? Interesting to know these new kids daring airline companies and they deserved some reserches.

Know the differences of AAX and AA?

To be honest, I doubt those veterans invested in CA has much concern about PN17.
Tony and Kamarudin each injected RM250+ millions for new right issue while knowing their company will face or cannot solve PN17 issue and eventually going bankrupt soon? If you think they are dumb, then I prefer to be a dumb with cash RM250 millions. "Unfortunately" also the poker king Stanley Choi is still holding up his potion, he could be another dumb that not running away, maybe he does not read the news AA or CA is facing PN17 issue soon.

what is the point of glove companies making profit for 10 consecutive quarters, share price still dropping, many dare to buy at RM9 and not daring to buy again at RM2.3 now, why? The problem is not how much a company loses, it is the market sentiment and expectation

Changing name is just a 1st step of coming big plan, Capital A is expected to announce series of news or changes in coming days or weeks.

My 2 cents for AA changing name:
- AA is transforming into a Holding Company, controlling subsidairies like Superapp, Teleport, BigPay, AA Aviation and etc.
- Rebranding & positioning AA as tech driven group
- Preparing to list their subsidiaries. You may notice each of the subsidiary like Superapp, Teleport, are having an individual CEO and management team, this is the company organization structure ready to be listed or being sold seperately.
- Gaining some publicity effects, as of Facebook changed theri name to Meta (not everyone knows what is Metaverse that Meta talking about, at least everyone learned Facebook was about to change name, publicity hit 1st)
- As like its new name "Capital A", a name sounds like a vision fund such as Softbank, meaning Capital A ambitions are to acquire or invest on those new potential fast growing tech companies (if their cash flow is vitalized)
- if non of the above achieved or gone thru, no harm caused as well, worth a try.

Some glove companies even making profit for 100+ consecutive QR, also share price ditching down like nobody business (especially the one ditching from RM10 to RM2).
One is ditching from the sky, the other one is bouncing from bottom, choose the one suits your play. Comparing those who bought glove share at RM8 or RM9 to those who bought AA share at current bottom price, sure you can imagine who is more painful, right?

For those who are positive to AA stock, buying WA could be a interesting play, it has relatively long validity period (7 years), and one can use small amout of money betting for bigger return in future, it is likely some big boys are collecting, otherwise 74.5 millions units WA transacted at the 1st day (with closing price higher than opening price), who were the buyers, typically casual inverstor will not buy WA when the mother share price is lower than exercie price, except big boys having different mindset and strategy.

Today, tried ordering again Santan nasi lemak with RM10 off via AA Superapp, order get cancelled few times due to overwhelming order surge recently, the AA delivery team is unable to cope with it.
Bad: order get cancelled few times, frustrating.
Good: overwhelming order surge recently via Superapp
So, in the same event, casual consumers will see this as a bad experience, but for an experienced investor, he/she sees opportunity that the Superapp gaining traction. Therefore, see what you see, bet what you bet!

Currently, AA digital businesses are just to compliment its core aviation business, however AA's target is to match the revenue from digital businesses as much as its aviation sector, if not exceeding.
And AA has the leverages to boost its digital businesses as long as the its cash flow is vitalized. Another "and", AA still stands a chance to plug its Superapps and Teleport into the so-called largest credit source on earth in the US, actually HK also not a bad place. If Grab can do listing, AA's Superapp and Teleport also can do listing mah when time is right, AA will certainly follow the listing step as of Grab, AA is Malaysia company, "kiasu" is our nature too.
ASEAN is a huge upcoming economical playground, and AA is part of it well before Grab, they know how to play the game well I guess.

while enjoying little profits from the LA / WA issuance, for the last 2 days, have been using Airasia Superapp to order food delivery with RM10 rebate + free delivery everyday, why not, since Tony is treating.
Yes, the Superapp still laggy, still facing orders get cancelled, it was the same issue faced by Grab at their initial start, just try harder again until order get thru. Had been enjoying Blackball Desserts and chicken rice for last 2 days with nearly 50% off (if your couple does the same, you get RM10 + RM10 off everyday). Comparing the Superapp performance from last few months to recent days, there is a significant improvement on-going, yeah it is frustrated order get cancelled or app laggy, still you have 50% off chicken rice on your table.

It seems majority never read news about Omicron, probably some good persons shall remind the majority of Omicron risk.
