Senyi8, you are correct, the only reason these people are harping is to create some noise or fear on people who are already invested. Their principle is actually very simple, create some amount of fear and see it snowball to a crash as some investor can easily be swayed by temporary movement of the stock which might not even be related to current condition of the company but just the general market

The reason frontken fell drastically is because there are too many speculators punting this stock. These people are the first to exit when things go south. My advice is to hold if you can afford it

Alex Chin, as investors we should always be thankful to speculators. Investing with sound FA can only bring it up to a certain level, you need speculators to bring it beyond any reasonable valuation. If those guys don't exist, to whom are we going to sell out our shares after it is fully valued . (not reffering to frontken, it applies on every counter)

Cheer2015, if you are really in the semiconductor business you should know how competitive it is in this business , the only undying giant is Intel and samsung electronics, while TSMC is the largest independent semiconductor foundry . Of course there is company shutting down, it happens all the time

TSMC is a client of frontken taiwan subsidiary. Furthermore ,a majority frontken profit is contributed by its taiwan operation

more than half of the profit for 2014 is contributed by Frontken taiwan subsidiary, enough said
