There is no way any 3rd party operators get a bigger slice of the revenue or profit from Genting/RWLV.

Crowds & footfalls would therefore be indicative of RWLV’s success factors. The longer the customers stay inside RWLV property or inside the casinos, the better for RWLV.

Talking to Vegas Inc, Sibella (President of RWLV) said that the majority of the revenue won’t come from gaming operations. He said that the forecasts indicate that when the facility opens, around 75% of the revenue will be from the non-gaming side.

“You have to think differently and design differently, because not everyone is going to want to gamble. It’s a different way of thinking than it was years ago,” he said. “What we’re doing is not only good for us, it’s good for the city because this is going to attract people,” he added.

The 3 hotels, Ayu Dayclub, Zouk Nightclub (opening Sep 17), new theatre (pending opening),the ‘Mall’ all belong to RWLV.

It is given that Genting requires professional operators to run the daily management of Hilton, Conrad & Crockfords, the clubs, the F&B operators & retail shops.

It is the daily footfall ie number of visitors at RWLV which Genting requires to boost its revenue in both its non-gambling revenue & gambling revenue.

So, when the crowd is huge at Ayu Dayclub, RWLV should be earning more than just rental from the operator.

Same as the hotels, RWLV (Genting) earns a certain cut from the revenue/sales based on pre-agreed contracts. Same goes for MGM, Sands, Caesars.

HaHa Ha genting hk nothing to do with GenM. But thanks for the good news… cruise business is recovering very slowly. Going to check out Cruise to nowhere from Langkawi when open..
