2. Give them enough time to collect b4 merger
(Rmb their announcement to deal in closed period)
3. Blocking share price to go up
4. Make better profit for both of them

my opinion they done this on purpose of merger. If result better then Q1 last year. AAX will unstoppable and the merger at 0.67 will not be reality.

They have to take at higher price, maybe above 0.70 or bettter.

So in other words, if u have holding power hold it. Else throw will be better options. IBs will ready to collect them at cheaper price.

Agreed with skng74, KM announcement is on purpose to cushion an impact of the poor performance in Q1'17.

Staff cost and fuel cost is too high for QR'17. Shifted cost to make AA look good, and get AAX at cheaper price and merger could take place at lower cost with higher profit.

many retailers will panic tomorrow.... (those bought at 0.46-0.55). They will throw like no tomorrow.

I'm sure AAX will gap down in the morning and
IBs will happily absorb the dumping tomorrow as they know special dividend is coming soon.

My opinion, don't panic tomorrow as most of us here bought AAX at lower price.
Either u make more or you make less.

radzi, same quarter last year AAX registered 4.3 earning per share.
if EPS remain 4 cents then no improvement. Hope to see EPS hit 5 cents and above.
