Maybe, the 2020 accounts haven't been signed off by an auditor. The general consensus is that SD is bankrupt. Too many receivable, unverified stock, massive debt, questions on income and cash, if correct, that will run out supporting operations by October.

Read the previous posts. KPMG discussed their findings with the EDs who didn't like it and tried to force KPMG to change it (and asked Bursa for an extension to give them more time at bullying KPMG). KPMG then presented to the INEDs who were probably too scared of Karim to say anything. KPMG then went to Bursa / SC as is their obligation to do when they red-flag the audit results.

Then Serba MADE IT PUBLIC and started a campaign to discredit KPMG and that is till ongoing on this board by the Fanboys. However, the campaign misfired with the 5th May presentation on what they say KPMG found, concentrating on minor issues and not the ELEPHANT in the room, being the receivables, stock, etc. However, its real downfall was the PC where the Chairman lied.

The market has demonstrated its faith in the Serba BoD.

Change the BoD completely and Serba's fortunes will start to look up. However, bear in mind no one knows the actual status of the company. I think we can be reasonably sure it is not as reflected in the Q5 report.

IF Serba profit is real being the operative word.

However, if fraud has been perpetrated within Serba as a listed company, those responsible have committed a criminal offence and are liable whether the company goes private or not. They may even be in a worse position if privatised as shareholders may have more grounds to sue.

The KLCI has been depressed overall, however, my portfolio which no longer includes any of the above is down only 0.51%.

It is very clear the punishment that Serba is taking is also reflected in the other shares in which Karim is significantly involved. Therefore market sentiment is not against Serba but .....
