IDSS creates volatility in the market.

We normal traders make money when our stock's price goes up but short sellers make money when the price goes down. Theoretically, normal traders and IDSS create an equilibrium in the market, but this past three months have shown otherwise.

If you think the market has been bad these past two weeks, you should be thankful Bursa extends the ban on IDSS until the end of the year, otherwise who knows how low our market will go during this troublesome time.
