I expect 20 cents div. Unfortunately I come at 15 cts only. A bit disappointed.

Ya loh, if my money is invested into MPI instead of the screw up GTronic, I would be bit richer.

If want to speculate, I would speculate foreign funds sell off heavily to cash in RM and exchange it to USD in the forecast that RM is to strengthen further plus the weakening semi-con. I am speculating only.

No so good Q1 and Q2 FY16 have been forecasted and widely talked about in the market for long. Therefore it is not a big surprise until affecting share price to have s sharp fall today.

NO announcement on cash dividend on website of Bursa. The latest 3 announcements on 25, 22 and 18 Apr16 were all Notice on shares buy back.

Div return in % on invested capital, LPI is no. 1. In absolute value in rm, MSing is no. 1.

I gamble on it today heavily. Will I win or stuck? Let wait and see.

My friend went to the plant in Bayan Lepas during lunch time,there is no smoke or fire or fire engine and traffic around the plant is smooth. So we think there is no fire. The news of fire at plant is fake.

RM-usd appreciates 1%, profit drops 1%. RM has so far gained 13%. so GT's profit will drop by 13% from currency exchg only.

When RM is high, GT is RM6.7, adjusts the 13% less profit from currency, GT should be RM6.7-13%=RM5.83.

Adjust another 10% drop from lackluster semi-con industry, GT should be RM5.83-10%=RM5.25.

To Mahsing's fans : from the past many years (2009 to 2016), Mahsing has grown only 114% (1.50/0.70). Simple annual growth rate is 114/7=16%. It is a good return but not great. Most of the return come from bonus and right issues. If you are looking for impressive return in short to medium term, you should not invest in Mahsing especially during the current very strong headwind on property market.

It is LPI but it is meaningless as LPI rises up to top #2 after 260% profit since 2009.

Cost of developer will increase and profit margin will reduce. In the lackluster property market it is unlikely that developer can pass over the increased cost to house buyers.
Anyway Mahsing is resilient enough to absorb the negative news but this is another headwind for Mahsing to go up.

Yes it needs approval at AGM. Historically the ex date is in the first week of Sep.

If you want to invest into Mahsing, be prepare for long term. Mahsing is a very solid counter in absorbing negative news. It seldom jumps up high , it is slow but steady alike tortoise.

When I saw 2.88 on that day, I quickly put up q at 2.80, unfortunately I did not get it at last. Will wait for it patiently again. My average holding cost is around 2 only.

Whatever comments be it optimistic or pessimistic, as long as it is logic and make sense, I like it. I am sad when come across those unrealistic and uncivilized comments.

The same stories happens on many other counters such as RSawit, JTiasa, FLB, Liihen etc. If you are smart and lucky, you make money along with super investor.

To LS: This article was released recently but the recommendation on CanOne was disclosed many months earlier by super investor. Along that few months, we are offered plenty of opportunities to buy low between 3.4-4.0. Some hard working people follow him even earlier than Nov 15 and got entry price even lower than 3. So if we do not follow the super investor close enough, and buying high following the later recommendation, our chance of winning money together with him is much reduced.

Yes, we should welcome recommendation especially by super investor. After that we need to use our brain to filter and luck to select the entry and exit price.

Div yield of BAT, BJTOTO, MAGNUM are lower than 6%. I do not understand why many fund managers rate them as high div play while we can easily get >6% yield counters like Matrix, Tambun and Huayang. The only probable reason I can think off is that BAT has very strong fundamental as compared to small-medium cap counters as quoted above. Can anybody kindly shed light on this ?

I have a bit more patient and gotten it at 3.39 on 8Mar16 which has delivered me profit on paper as high as 30%. So, if you want to talk about conspiracy by uncle Koon, it is a conspiracy to give me money.

If you think it is a good investment, then just jump in. There is no conspiracy in the market to cheat "ikan bilis" because the cost of forming conspiracy is much more expensive than the maximum money can be cheated from all "ikan bilis".

Investing in shares market should not “afraid of robber at front and scare of ghost at the back”. If always having conspiracy that someone is cheating you to buy in so that he can sell to you expensive, you will never enjoy investing.

My first batch is lower than 1.58, therefore I am still in paper profit then.
