Honestly, I have worked in so many industries as Finance professionals and we will not allow this external audit queries to turn ugly. I don’t know the reason for this lose lose situation! KPMG will burn 700-800k audit fee and SB loans will trigger full repayment by banks etc where we now know ratings are down!

Some major shareholders will buy back the shares as they are charged to banks as collaterals . He may be buying more to top up to meet the obligations!

Big Four audit firms will not simply notify and make this kind of announcement. They would have given SB and the management multiple chances and time to answer. This is really not something that is normal! I worked in this line for close to 30 years.

I don’t think we should trust the management. Looks like they are buying time by appointing another Audit firm to perform special audit! What nonsense is that. Every management would have done due diligence before entering into a contract! Utter rubbish!

SB should request for payment and if there are partial payments for the said contract/s KPMG will not question. They look at subsequent events!

If the receivables are paid there will not be in this situation and no need to conduct special audit! Something is not right!

That’s how companies are faking up revenue. All related party transactions.

I hope it’s not related party transactions to fake revenue and with no Audit confirmation from it and most importantly not a single payment it’s highly suspicious

Simple! If the receivables are paid it will be non issue! MYR3.5 billion is a lot of money and it mirrors Transmile Bhd. If it’s fake , revenue will be adjusted down by this amount and will be bankrupt! SC investigation warranted.
