bo ... hsif hit 23900 (intersection between downward TL and horizontal SR level) and pull back !! since the macd on m60 is still dropping, am expecting to see her at 200ma support which is around 23700ish ! if 200ma manages to hold the fort with price trading above it thereafter, i will look for long opportunity going forward ..

speaking of cut loss, let me share this with our buddies .. if u don't limit your loss, your cap will be gone in no time ... eg based on your record u have a 50% win/loss rate (yayyyy !! this is better than professional) .. u intend to take 10 trades this month ... say luck not really on your side this month and the 1st 3 are losing trades ... say u don't limit your loss and u only cut when 30% of your cap is gone, what happen after the 1st 3 trades ... 90% of your cap sudah habis :( once again, your win/loss rate tells u nothing but how u manage risk does ! so, take care folks esp if u are trading high risk instrument like hsif :)

going sideways now is good ... more and more peeps go long futures !! and they wud put their stop some bids lower than last swing low ... if later price dips lower than this last swing low, then all stops will be activated and so fuel the dip further :) logical or not ??? learnt from rayner !! LOL

bo, i just want to share a simple process that i adopt now for hsif !!! since we daytrade, we shud look at m60 for the BIGGG pic .. if price is below 200ma and 200ma is pointing south, then i only look for an opportunity to visit HSBC on m15/m5 when both momentum indicators align ... if there is any pullback along this short-term downtrend, i wud just sit it out and not go to CIMB :) of course, this method is totally not applicable to scalper who sees every peak-and-trough as opportunity !! scalping also works perfectly well if one is cut out to scalp :) eg fairplayer who is able to scalp without emo which is excellent !! he also has another trait which i admire the most .. ie when there is criticism about his trading, he wud just shrug it off instead of being defensive or trying to justify etc etc ... very very commendable attitude .. no wonder he can scalp like a pro :)

bo, yes she cud go your 23900 before the dive also !! those days i was so fixated with one direction .. now, i am mentally prepared for either up, down or range ie listen to what mr market has to say :)
