Iris Corporation Berhad (0010) has received the letter of intent for Malaysia's billion-Ringgit National Integrated Immigration System (NIIS), according to sources.

A source claimed that Iris has held a meeting with the Ministry of Finance and is subsequently discussing with S5 Systems on the scope of works. S5 Systems is believed to be conducting a reverse takeover on Ancom Logistics Berhad (0048).

The immigration IT service provider was believed to be the forerunner of the NIIS project although there was speculation Datasonic Group Berhad (5216) is getting the project because they are the supplier of the pedestrian gates in Malaysia's airports and Malaysia's passports.
