There was once a forumer here raised the concern abt the heavy reliance on one man that's Dr Yeoh for connection with CRCC.....this is risky!! think again.......
2016-07-29 13:42 | Report Abuse
solely relying on this Dr Yeoh pose very great risks to its failure to launch and finish many projects on hand. Cash flow is already a big problem whereby it's never-ending insufficient.....by now vivocom's cashflow is almost used up since the last fund raising through private placements......these private placements will dilute shareholders' value further down.....not a good thing

MIDF Research noted that while there is a risk of a slowdown in the construction sector due to policy reversal through the reduction of development expenditures by the governments of Malaysia and/or China, it anticipated a moderate degree of structural risk exposure.
Other risks in the stock include severe depletion in net working capital and structural risks pertain to contract provisions and definition especially on the role as a project management and a sub-contractor as well as the strength of the contractual covenants, such as projects that require specific technical capabilities such as railway engineering (signaling and telecommunication.)
MIDF Research noted that without the strong covenant and contract provision with clients and vendors, Vivocom would face a heightened risk of the vendors and suppliers exiting pre-maturely or unpredictability in supply or services for project execution.

cheerleaders no more invest....they trade only.......this shows how much less confidence they have for vivocom nowadays.........LOL

Nowadays the cheerleader squad are quiet and have no unity.....some flee away, some lost hope, some crying, some feeling bitter, some conned by the tall stories, some felt betrayed by Dr Yeoh and his mates at vivo company which is quite obvious.....
is vivocom a good company with long term outlook? on the current surface seems too good to be true but the underlying problems suggesting that it is raising red flags......too much drama and betrayals until insider info regarding Dr Yeoh's resignation also got leaked out and published on TheEdge.

Political turmoil in Malaysia now.....US Department of Justice and FBI are seizing assets linked to 1MDB through 3 individuals in USA, Jho Low and Riza Aziz are 2 of them. They have even pointed out "Malaysia Top Official #1" which obviously refers to the person holding the top job in M'sia.

Ktteh, u posted an article taken from somewhere:
"To strengthen the group’s image and to better reflect the group’s new focus and aspiration to be a regional construction group, Instacom Group changed its name to ‘Vivocom Intl Holdings Bhd’ on January 14, 2016. "
Let me decode it for you all. Why does a company need to spend so much efforts to strengthen its image? This ain't right. If you're doing things correctly then u don't have to do so much. It's like a girl trying so hard using make-ups to make herself pretty....IF u are pretty then you don't really need to put on so much make-ups to outshine others and prove because there's nothing to prove.

Simple to help u all understand it. Vivocom has just started to evolve itself from telco tower business into construction business and these construction businesses are relying on MEGA Infrastructure projects from government in order to keep up with RM 2 billions tendering books annually for the next 3 years from now. This is said and confirmed by your beloved Managing Director Mr Choo in interviews even the latest one. You guys still think this is realistically achievable? Think again before u answer me or retaliate!

vivocom is not what it seems to be ....so u guys better be careful....any counters closely rely or linked to the government for jobs/contracts will be quite risky now. Even Datasonic has already said yesterday that they wish to less rely on govt jobs/contracts for future earnings.
Myeg also set sail to rely less on govt jobs/contracts by diversying into other segments of its businesses.

I am seriously confident that corruptions and bribery are involved between vivocom and the government. In this world where u stood on its ground, when something seems too good to be true where vivocom has evolved from a small company listed on ACE market keep winning contracts and some jobs no bidding are involved. Still not questionable?

I can tell u tht if u keep investing/trading or holding onto vivocom shares....ur money capitals will be driven down by all these scandals, mismanagement of govt funds and corruptions. What else is not convincing to u all still? The US Attorney General has spoken out and FBI is nearing to prosecute Jibby. You all still wanna invest in this counter?????? I'm speechless if u still hold onto this share.......ur money will habis kaput...!!

Besides the ugly 1MDB scandals, the latest scandals to grace the red carpet will be the railway projects connecting to the East coast of peninsular m'sia. CHeck this out:

when this highly manipulated ACE market listed hotstock collapse...u will be history.
How many of those inflated stocks in ACE market went through the boom and busted when the fairy-tales end or its white knight moved on? This Dr Yeoh the CRCC-enabler took over the role as CEO for a mere 8 months and resigning got leaked out. Worth to still gamble ur money in it? I strongly doubt that myself.

Hold more cash capital now....in the event of global selloffs sparked by impending problems, u will have great chance to reap the benefits and enormous profits. The worldwide economy is slowing and saturated now. I've warned ppl that the bull run is in its 8th year now since 2008/2009 Global Financial Crisis sparked by US Subprime mortgage crisis. This time will be different. Just preserve ur cash capital....tensions among countries are on the rise and heated battles...you've known these reading everywhere on web or newspapers. When selloffs start, u will stand greater chance to survive the downturn.

Current outstanding shares issued: 2,587,280,392
Upcoming bonus shares: 870,311,821
Outstanding shares after bonus issues: 3,457,592,213 (approximately 3.4 billion shares)
Wow! For all the upcoming earnings to be announced soon will be divided among the so many shares! That's a whopping number of shares. If more bonus issues to be announced in future then it's gonna be quite bad for shareholders. This is the cheapest way to reward shareholders with no money involved. Cheat shareholders first with all wonderful stories in order to shore up its share price. Even something gone bad in the company, must not tell or announce. Dr Yeoh wanna retire? Persuade him not to retire first. What's more can BOD and management team do to shore up the company's share price? Let's brainstorming. So how? Our company's earnings are not sustainable because we do not have recurring incomes enough to reward shareholders so... taddda!! our brilliant idea is reward them with bonus issues for free!!!

Funds pulling out their investments from China markets drastically.....u can google and confirm this.
Tan Sri Quek of HL Bank and Asia's richest man also pulled out of China. Still don't sense something bad is coming from China? Their military is not on par with USA and Russia is also eyeing to force China to give them better deals that's why Russia backed all nations against China. The sanctions on Russia by USA and EU has a deep impact on Russia that's why now Russia chose to join the wolf packs and go against China. Russia is strong militarily so they have nothing to lose since their economy can be revived if they help USA and its allies in the South China Sea battles.
