IMO deals with tesla will be short-lived.
sure, if it is true then they can make money for the time being.

but tesla's vision is to push down their costs, and elon musk has a reputation for vertical integration. sooner or later they'll make their LEDs themselves. not that hard for them to do, and they have been moving more items in-house. other car manufacturers will follow suit to lower their costs so they can compete in prices.

very dark future for these automotive vendors.
