Traderman, you might be correct because KTB's chart not yet completed the falling triangle in Elliott waves 2. There is still a downward correction to 0.245 to complete the last e in the triangle and then only wave 3 iii will follow. The MEGA project will take about other 3 months to materialized.

If those big buy Q before the close willing to buy in then got chance to break lor...Why so quiet here? nobody interested in this bus ride anymore? or I am the "silly" one still day dreaming about enjoying some good "up" ride...hahaha

hhakim, yeah, easily to drill a successful well under 21 days using RSS. It will be a "steal" if you can get at 0.45... I will double up if does drop to that level... hahaha, This is team with strong E&P experience, I would give them a chance to proof it.... short term price movement I think is over reacted.

hhakim, from your analysed on the report, I can see that you are good in reservoir analaysis.... if 10+ years ago it will be real challenge to produce from this fied.... but with today's drilling technology have geosteering capability on RSS system drilling horizoontal well penetrating and stay within the desired target of the payzone has been something that is easily achievable...also the cost of drilling shallow (TVD around 1130m)horizontal well is much cheaper for any future plan... Anyway the main highlight of the report is in its title: Bualuang Oilfield, Gulf of Thailand: A Successful Development Using Geosteered Horizontal Wells... With my little understanding in Q&G this is my personal feeling after reading : It is a good risk that the Sona management ( those have 20+ years experience in E&P)must have studied and decided to buy in... I bought some during last 2 days sell-off, and looking to buy some more if drop further... hahaha

Instead of debating about price up or down next week... why not spend a little of your time to read the post provided below by sommeone who spent time trying to understand what kind of stuff Sona is getting into...to gain some very good knowledge.... then you will most likely want to hold on your share in hand for a while...I think Sona management team taking some good risk......hahaha

The Bualuang oil field is the Group’s flagship production asset and has been on-stream since 2008. When Salamander took over the development of the field it was thought to contain c. 14 MMbo of 2P reserves and have a productive life of approximately five years. However, the field has undergone six reserve upgrades and it is now expected to ultimately recover c. 75 MMbo and be producing well into the next decade.

Atwood Mako rig was taken on long term contract and following a period of sustained development drilling in 2013 production increased 71% to average 12,300 bopd. Further development drilling is planned during 2014 and production is expected to average between 11,000 and 14,000 bopd.
