Speaking for myself only, most of the time I Am trying to guess what is the direction and the tactics behind to push up or down. Those who had bought hope it shoot sky high. What i was thinking is, if there are panic sell, it will be good to enter and pick it up at lower price which maximize my profit since i am small fish only. But you definitely got your point. I study this counter more than can share share info.

Hibiscus say start drill on 6 jan and now already 1 week plus. Me no genius like bruce willis know how to drill oil sama Ben. But, if betul betul drill, not unless they kena centre of the earth, the drill head might come out at the other side of globe. Just kidding as smell some heat here. But, this time looks like no news is bad news as the fire to goreng is getting smaller. Actually hope it hit mineral water and limit down ripple effect to sona and cliq, then can collect some as the price is lower by then. But, if it strike also can as there still ample of room to jump in. Staying sideline and be a spectator is at time, not a bad idea afterall. Cheers..

Announce of Hibiscus.. Got time have a peek and should give guideline what to do with Sona before CNY.

The MNN #1 well was drilled to a total depth of approximately 1,000 metres below mean sea level. Mud losses in two carbonate sections of the well prevented Masirah Oil Limited from reaching its planned target depth. A comprehensive data acquisition, coring and logging programme of the formations that were drilled was completed on 21 December 2013. Data analysis indicated presence of non-commercial hydrocarbons.

Datasets acquired from the coring and logging programs are now being utilized to refine the geological understanding of the area. In addition, the information acquired has assisted all partners in the Oman Block 50 project to identify the next drilling location. Subject to the approval of the Omani Government, it is anticipated that drilling at this location will start within the next two weeks.

Hibiscus Petroleum’s Managing Director, Dr. Kenneth Pereira, commented that, “whilst we are disappointed with the final result of the MNN #1 drilling programme, we are proud that as a young company, with a small technical team, we have demonstrated our ability to conduct a safe drilling operation, in a remote offshore area of a foreign country without Health, Safety or Environmental (“HSE”) issues. The well did present technical challenges but these were managed competently and safely by our teams located in Oman, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur. Several times over the past few weeks, commercial and HSE objectives came head to head and each time, HSE considerations over-rode all other objectives. Such operational and HSE performance adds to our credibility as a responsible oil and gas exploration and production operator.”

As a result of data obtained from the drilling of MNN #1, all partners in the Block 50 Oman project are now in the process of finalising the next drilling location. The proposed well will be defined by 3D seismic mapping and will have strong Rex Virtual Drilling (“RVD”) indications in various formations. The prospect will also have been analysed using conventional techniques.
On the performance of the RVD Technology, Dr. Pereira observed that, “the RVD technology has been tested exhaustively on 41 locations in Norway and has performed successfully on 40 occasions. The results of these tests are in the public domain. It is a tool that is and will continue to drive a great deal of growth in Lime Norway and is expected to do the same elsewhere for us and our partners, Rex International Holdings. Our current drilling programme was developed to take into account both successful and non-successful outcomes at MNN #1. As we now have a non-commercial outcome, we will execute that leg of the plan to manage the current situation with no compromise of operational safety factors.”

Hibiscus Petroleum acquired a 35% stake in Lime for USD 55 million as its Qualifying Acquisition in April 2012 due to its portfolio of assets and access to RVD. The Block 50 Oman concession, in which Lime has a 64% participating interest, is estimated to have risked resources of almost 390 million barrels of oil based on the Q4 2011 study by an independent petroleum sub-surface consultant, Aker Geo AS of Norway. Masirah’s other shareholder is Petroci Holding, the national oil company of Ivory Coast, which has a 36% participating interest in Block 50 Oman.

If i read correctly, hibiscus raise 300 million n sona raise 500 million. Take everything as constant like pay, size of setup. Hibiscus warrant can goreng to 2.0 +, so, if sona warrant too drop to 0.20 due to panic sell of ripple effect and when up, chance of profit can be greater than 10 times !!! So, wait and fish...

So, just let hibiscus be the guiding line and use it ti maximize profit. Temporary staying sideline is a very very strategic idea. You will not be overnight millionaire nor bankrupt 2. Hi hi hi

If hibiscus found oil, just jump in will make money too. However,,if hibiscus fail again in 2nd hole, the ripple effect will definitely spill to other SPAC and it will be Great time to pick up cheaper shares.

If hibiscus strike oil instead of cooking oil again, the ripple effect will move SPAC up but sink also fast because no fundamental. To make more $$$, if and if hibiscus hit cooking oil, the ripple would spread to other SPAC and it will be good time to pick up sona at a lower price. If I were shark, I want this to happen. cheers ...

They are doing it in Block 50 and 1st hole cost RM 50 million. Second one will be the same. The company doing it call Masirah. Looks up in the internet and you might think again on Hibiscus ...

Someone mention that shark got 8 cents stock, if true, looks like a dip to 10 cents for a brief period of time is possible when shark are fed and no more to sell.

I got 180 lot and put high hope on it. Average at 0.133 ...

Just to be frank, puncak always have 1 big drop then rebound the next day which I too benefit from it starting at 1.77 to now. However, it is so predictable and just watch out it might drop for another day or 2 to this time to create panic sell... Just my personal opinion.
