Company cash ok, well managed and will bloom. PN17 is simply due process because of past financial situation.

Left hand right hand. Left hand say PN1 end in Sept, Right hand say delay to Nov.. Left hand say PN17 up to Dec, Right hand push price down and Left hand collect. If you check, Left hand and Right hand belongs to same man.
What happens now. Quarterly report out in Nov of which only Sept is after rights issue. Feb quarterly report, all 3 months after rights issue. So good news may start at end Nov continuing in Dec when PN17 issue may be resolved. Feb is expected to be good.
In the next 6 months price will float upwards up to 30 to 40sen. However always remember the Left hand and Right hand.

Somewhere early in 2014, 2,500,000 AHB warrants were transacted in the open market at 15sen. Subsequently they were converted to mother shares at 20sen. This represents about 5% paid up capital of AHB at the cost of 35sen. I thought it was an interesting observation. Why pay 35sen per share when market price was circa 20sen? Fill in the blanks and you may have an interesting investment.

Nice to see folks making friends. I see AHB as ready to rise from the ashes soon.

AT, it is nice to know that so many people love you and actually miss you when you decide to keep quiet. I love you too. Take care and be nice to the old cock.

A well schooled person knows technical and fundamental analysis and decides accordingly. An educated person pays attention to what is happening, feel for the vibes and follows accordingly.
It may do well for the schooled to get some education, and for the educated to get some schooling.
It is your money so look after it well. Risk/reward management produces better results. Emotional disturbance tends to spoil well laid plans.
Timing is important, so give time time.
Feel good, go to the mirror, smile at whom you see, and say 'I love you and I trust you' to that person in the mirror.

I do not know. I believe that they know about CIMB letter before it came out. Legal matters take time to come to a conclusion, by which time the exercise could be over. The free float of AHB shares are small meaning that maybe they want to attract attention of investors to participate in the exercise. Maybe they want to distribute like you mentioned, or maybe they want to collect before the exercise. Who knows. I look at the final destination and not so much of the bumps along the way.

Hi Hafiz_444, Thanks for your view of the on-goings at AHB. We may be in this together in that we put our monies in with the expectancy to turn in profits. Risk is important because we do not want to lose our RM. Calculated risk is somewhat different. Although the risk factor is still there, we look at the probability factor. From there, we put our monies in, or not. Our individual conclusions in risk/reward will be the deciding factor. Therefore I thank you for highlighting the risks.
The bigger picture
Dexx has a paid up of RM5,000. Dexx accepted responsibility and settled to the tune of RM17,877,366.01of AHB's Trade debt. This suggests that Dexx is run by a vary capable person. Dexx then acquired majority share in AHB at .20sen per share. Why?
The relevant question I've asked myself is why would Dexx involve itself in AHB whose market cap at that time was <RM10 million with >17 million. Then again, the 5 million warrants were not converted to shares until Dexx came into the picture. Why? I must admit I do not know the answers, but I can only guess and paint my own scenario. From there I draw my conclusions and decide on investing or not.
ronaldo1103 is right in saying that the legal matters were known by Dexx, to me much earlier. I choose not to be worried because I feel that Dexx is capable of handling the cases, in their own way.

Kelvin Tsai, don't let that question disturb you. Try looking for answers instead in the probability area. Imagine if the girl said to the man, "I will marry you only if you guarantee that you will be alive tomorrow".

AHB is healing from damage experienced in the past. After the exercise, debt will be close to zero with no more interest payment. NTA will rise to >17 cents. White knight has very good turnaround record with Mercury and Ecofirst. Both have their prices rise 3-4 times after White knight started to manage them and are now giving dividends of 8% with P/Es < 10.
AHB is the first company White knight controls by majority share. Operational framework has been restructured by closing AHBT and moving the staff to marketing. There are many other evidences that AHB is a good bet.
Speculating opportunities may be available with the rights exercise, however investing opportunities is in the now. AT and ronaldo1103 seem very confident in AHB and I silently agree with them.

What has happened to AHB application for rights issue made on 15th Nov. 5 months now and no news???
2014-03-06 08:11 | Report Abuse
Ayam Tua, I think that it will break upwards soon. Application for rights made on 15/11 and waiting for Approvals to be announced. Dato Tiong is a turnaround specialist, and this is the first listed company he controls. Dexx has a paid up capital of RM5,000 and yet it is a white knight to AHB to
the tune of RM17,000,000. 3rd March was application for stay of execution in Maybank case. 5th March last day of warrants trading. Cheers.

Hasnur, your computation looks correct. Chances are you can not subscribe online. You've got to contact your broker to sign a document to say that you wish to subscribe and the funds must be made available. You will end up with odd lots.
It may be better to do what Sandra is doing and watch the goings on as a learning mechanism. Calculate the total cost if you were to subscribe and you can choose to re-enter if the price comes at or below that. If it does not, maybe you could move to other counters with the experience you've gathered with this exercise.
