i think the government has been and will be continuing to support the market. However, the market is bigger than what the government thinks it is... question is can the chinese government continue to support (rig) the stock market? lol.

Livinia, I think you're more likely right. again, depends on the mandate, if mandate is small cap stock, this could be it!

a quick check in bloomberg terminal shows that there is only one institutional investor.

i guess that depends on the mandate given to the fund managers as well. It could be in their watchlist but not neccessarily a buy. They have to write a research paper and present to IC for approval before they can buy and i think the turnover for that would be awhile. Research would typically include some form of financial dd and management dd.

richkid Sold at 50 sen after the uma was announced. No choice. Already anticipated panic selling and already told everyone to expect some panic selling. Nothing new to me. Sell first. Buy back later once scanwolf is rid of panic sellers.
