RHB noted that Pentamaster’s 3QFY2024 pre-tax profit margin improved sequentially to 9.7% versus 6% in 2QFY2024, thanks to higher-margin projects.
“This offset the weaker factory automation solutions margin, which dropped 5.1 percentage points to 28.2%, due to higher material cost,” it added.
Nevertheless, RHB retained its 'buy' call on Pentamaster and unchanged TP of RM5.95, pending Pentamaster’s analysts briefing later on Friday.
The house anticipated Pentamaster to deliver annual earnings of RM95 million for FY2024 and RM126 million in FY2025 as at press time.
