There isn't any particular big news during the last 3 weeks. My guess will be between 2.70 to 2.73

I read their announcements again, it didn't mention any specfic date for the trading of the new company, but it say that "any trading day".... which i assume after we entitled with the new share on the 23rd Jun, trading should start on 27th Jun (after Hari Raya).....not sure where did the chinese announcements get the of 10th Jul.

LB Al stock price is performing better this period

talk about die hard fan.... must count me in la. I've been holding for so many years saw the ups and downs so many times, also almost 98% of my klse portfolio all in this counter

Ex-D is today, meaning you already entitled the dividend even you sell now, not at 5pm cut-off

The >10m shares traded are probably some married deal, otherwsie if is a 10m shares sold down, the price won't be 2.58 then. Don't be overly worried, the fundamental remians the same and probably even better than previous qtr. Limited downside

No reason to be fearful. Nothing change so far.......Al price remain strong; expansion plan is intact; external factor no difference from 2 months ago. I always say is healthy to have correction.....cannot expect price to go up all the times and in fact it has already shot up so much, so no complain

"barring any unforeseen circumstances......", good to see the price consolidation within this range and should see it surge above $3 after that

Hunger...investors are paying diff PE for diff markets eg, Japan & USA, and even between S&P, DJ and Nasdaq are commanding diff PE. I would think the current PE of 16 is reasonable at the current trading price and in KLSE market, company needs to have the ability to demonstrate higher EPS in the future quarters to push the price to the next level. Many are willing to invest based on future PE (eg Amazon had -ve PE for years), let's all hope for more good days to come for PMetal!

I've not seen such a logical analysis by someone for a long time, well done RJ87! People kept shouting for the price to go up without any solid data to back-up, no doubt this is a solid company. I wish it will go much further as well since I'm still holding a big chunk but we need to be realistic

short term debt to be repaid in a year is $1.36B vs Cash Flow of $400m before dividend pay out? Need to raise fund by issuing rights or bonds?

the straight line price drop in the last 1 hour is quite unusual, having said that the correction is healthy and the sell down vol (about 3m shares) isn't really alarming, think there might still be some selling pressure in the next few days, let's see if the price can hold this week

Hi Moneykj.... not forgetting before the 2.x of bonus issued and split, there was another bonus issued previously too. Really good to see all the people in this forum make $ from this stock, certainly one of the star performer in KLSE

purchase is good.... but is probably not from open market as there wasn't such vol transacted last week (unless under KLSE rule, buyer is not required to report within certain number of days) , this can be some kind of married deal, but I didn't see the selling parties' name either

If u guys check the price fluctuation in 2014 - 2015, many people would not be able to take it. Just realised i bought some in Sep 2014 at above rm6 and added more at about rm1.7 in Aug 2015. You need to be able to stomach the price swing....good luck and huat together

U should only be excited if is 8mil shares

today's closing is not bad, there was big lot of 2m+ shares Q at 2.4 to sell in the last half an hour, this can be viewed as to deter people from buying up, or just collect what people throw to them. if the current level of 2.4 can hold, this is good for consolidation and should be ready for the next wave to go higher very soon (barring any bad news which we're unaware of)

Hunger, EPS = earning per share, the higher the better, PE = price earning ratio, the lower the better.... and I concur with HXS's above analysis, this counter will make all the investors HUAT !

Company expects better profit contributed from strengthening os usd, high Al price and China gov to curb some of the production in view of pollution

Wonder why so few analysts or broking house cover this counter?
