I used to have this mind set, so I have to tuned my thinking like I am buying/selling US shares (100 shares board lot)

The smaller the cap., the better, why? it is easier for the share to rise in tandem to its profits

Since our board lot is 100 shares per lot, it doesn't matter whether there is bonus/share split. Take a look at Nestle, now trading above Rm100.00, the company is not bothered to do anything. Most importantly, the company is well managed and growing all the way and its share value will appreciate accordingly.

I thought that a company can only issue bonus out of reserve in its share premium account, if there is none, the only other option is to do a share split, if it has any intention or plan to do so.

True it is an old man stock and when you least expect, it will just shoot up after announcement and not the other round, meaning up on insider's news (before an announcement)

good morning everyone, from my analysis based on he shareholdings of the 30 largest shareholders in the 2014 annual report, almost 50% were held by foreign funds, thus with the weakening of our ringgit coupled with the very poor economic fundamentals and potential downgrade of our credit standing, the foreigners were unloading like crazy. this stock is not on the bursa short list. we have to be patient and wait for the sellout to complete. cheers!

with the right timing and good luck, then only can one win by playing contra, otherwise be prepared to pick up on due date. remember stocks move (up or down) only when there is intervention, people are not so silly to goreng up for you to unload during the contra period. i believe that when you have chosen a good and well managed fundamental counter, stick to it and you will be rewarded handsomely over time . punting is definitely a no no!!! cheers
