（吉隆坡7日讯）金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股）获马交所批准，可将呈交重组计划的期限，延长至明年1月31日。
根据文告，若金狮无法在新期限呈交重组计划，将会面临停牌甚至是除牌的后果。
早前，金狮多元控股（LIONDIV，2887，主板消费产品股）指出，旗下的美佳钢铁（Mega steel）无法偿还9月30日到期的债务。

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company, SJ Securities Sdn Bhd (“SJ Securities”) wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had vide its letter dated 5 October 2015 (“Bursa’s Letter”) granted the Company an extension of time up to 31 January 2016 to submit the Regularisation Plan to the regulatory authorities.

The Bursa’s Letter also stated that Bursa Securities’ decision is without prejudice to its right to proceed to suspend the trading of the securities of the Company and to de-list the Company in the event:

(i) the Company fails to submit the Regularisation Plan to the regulatory authorities on or before 31 January 2016;



(ii) the Company fails to obtain the approval from any of the regulatory authorities necessary for the implementation of its Regularisation Plan; or



(iii) the Company fails to implement its Regularisation Plan within the time frame or extended time frames stipulated by Bursa Securities.



Upon occurrence of any of the events set out in (i) and (iii) above, Bursa Securities shall suspend the trading of the listed securities of the Company upon the expiry of five (5) market days from the date the Company is notified by Bursa Securities and de-list the Company, subject to the Company’s right to appeal against the delisting.

Lion : plans to secure investors for Megasteel

KUALA LUMPUR: Lion Corp, a Practice Note 17 (PN17) company with subsidiaries involved in the manufacturing and marketing of steel products and office equipment, plans to secure investors for its subsidiary Megasteel Sdn Bhd as part of its regularisation plan.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Lion Corp said under the plan, its 78.89 per cent-owned subsidiary Megasteel's operational and financial positions are expected to strengthen.

Megasteel, principally involved in the manufacturing and sale of hot rolled coils and cold rolled coils, will also include a petition for the implementation of effective trade defence mechanism by the government.

"The company will continue to engage with potential investor(s) with a view to considering investment in Megasteel and in this respect, discussions have been initiated with a party from Northeast Asia and it is still ongoing," said Lion Corp.

金狮多元控股与金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股），分别持有美佳钢铁的78.89%和21.11%股权。
该公司所违约的贷款，包括以银团定期贷款和令吉与美元的利息，以及定期贷款融资的母金与累计利息。
早前美佳钢铁已无法缴付银行贷款，因而陷入债务违约的窘境。
金狮正计划通过重组寻找潜在投资者，加强美佳钢铁的财政与营运状况，来解决拖欠债务的问题。
闭市时，金狮多元控股收报7.5仙，平盘挂收，成交量为58万6000股。

（峇厘岛27日讯）马来西亚中华总商会（中总）中央理事暨青商团团长拿督吴逸平说，作为新一代的青年华商，无论是继承家族企业，或者是准备创业起家，都不会有捷径可以走。
他说，在竞争越来越激烈的环境下必须不断充实自己，一步一脚印努力实干，才能做出一番大事业，并向华裔青年企业家提出三个建议。
单打独斗拼不过团队
第一个建议，是结合策略联盟（Strategic Alliance）。
“有一句老话说得好：三个臭皮匠，胜过一个诸葛亮。的确如此，今天的社会，不能再靠个人的聪明机智去单打独斗了，一个人即使能力再强，也拼不过团队精神的力量。”
他说，所谓策略联盟，就是要策略性的寻找各种不同能力的盟友，组成一个团队，在资金融合、技术交流、分担风险、分享资讯等不同的方面，取得互补的效果，这样才能提升企业的整体竞争优势。
“金字招牌”长期塑造
第二个建议是塑造企业品牌（Branding）。
“现在的商业环境，竞争非常激烈，消费者拥有太多的选择，如果企业无法建立一个长久的品牌，很快就会被市场淘汰。”
“西方有一句话：罗马不是一天建成的。
同样的道理，企业品牌也不可能在短时期内就可以成功打造出来，这必须要企业家长期坚持经营理念，坚持产品的品质和良好信誉，最后才能培养出越来越多的忠实顾客。只要打造出企业的‘金字招牌’，企业才能继续成长。”
发掘“一带一路”商机
第三个建议，配合区域合作的新发展趋势。
“中国政府近年来积极推动‘一带一路’的倡议，可以预见的是，中国和东盟之间的贸易肯定会越来越充满活力。”
他说，这两个大市场的未来发展前景是无可限量的，海外华商必须要掌握好和中国友好往来的历史文化优势，积极配合“一带一路”的建设发展，从中发掘更多的商业契机和投资潜能。
吴逸平是应邀出席第13届世界华商大会举行“世界青年华商企业”论坛，成为为主讲人之一时，发表上述看法。
其他主讲人为泰国华人青年商会会长李桂雄、新加坡中华总商会董事陈奕福、北京金恒丰科技有限公司董事施乾平，以及经纬国际会展有限公司董事长陈丹丹。
锺廷森向全球华商传授心得 诚信是经商首要素
经商的第一个要素是什么？
马来西亚中华总商会（中总）永久名誉会长丹斯里锺廷森向全球华商传授经商之道时说，诚信是企业家必备的第一要素，应该视之为座右铭。
他认为，做生意取得他人信任，让别人对自己有信心，若是能做到连对手都相信你是不会伤害他们的，就是诚信的最高境界。
“能够做到这点，企业家的信誉自然建立起来，以后跟人交往，自然无往不利。同时，做生意必须守信用和诺言，即使非常艰难的时刻，都必须遵守承诺。”
锺廷森以金狮集团于1997年面对金融风暴时的考验为例，指金狮集团当时债台高筑，虽然可以有其他选择，但为了对社会和所有股东负责的信念，耐心地克服一切困难，从跌倒的地方重新爬起来，然后重新出发。
锺廷森出席第十三届世界华商大会，主讲“‘商’道启示录成功企业家”论坛时这么指出。他也是金狮集团执行董事长。
成功企业家7大要点
他说，一名成功的企业家除了拥有快乐、成就、意义及传承的要素之外，更必须是受人“尊敬”的企业家，若他仅是腰缠万贯却不受人尊敬，是谈不上成功的。
“作为具有中华文化背景的华商，如何做到受人尊敬，应是他身为企业家的理想和目标。
“成功企业家必须具备7大要点，即诚信、遵守诺言与承担社会责任、建立本身品牌、栽培人才、珍惜人才、诚恳待人、态度谦和、公正处事以及热心社会公益。”
品牌战略是营销核心
锺廷森说，建立独特品牌是面对经济全球化和贸易自由化挑战的策略，品牌战略是现代企业市场营销的核心，凝结着企业的科学管理、市场信誉、追求完美的精神文化内涵，而企业领导个人的良好声誉和形象，也可以成为有价值的品牌。
“至于一个行业能否成功，人才至为重要，不仅要选择优秀的专业人才，也要花时间培养人才，更要懂得珍惜人才。”
企业家越有成就越谦虚
锺廷森说，越有成就的企业家，态度会越谦虚，待人更加诚恳，例如新加坡著名华商李光前和香港富豪李嘉诚都是诚挚谦恭的人，而抱着谦虚和诚恳的态度待人，不仅可以结交更多朋友，也会受到员工的爱戴。
做生意勿怕吃亏
他建议企业家谈生意最好不要只想占别人便宜，有时宁可自己吃点亏，多考虑对方的利益，别人才喜欢跟自己合作。
他说，公正是处事最基本原则，不管是在企业内部，或是在社会上处理问题，必须严格遵守公正原则，如此才有公信力，令人信服。
在商业上，合作或联营的成功基础除了双方的诚意之外，彼此公正处理问题，也是非常重要的。
身家不代表价值
锺廷森也强调，作为企业家，他的成就或他拥有多少资产，并不能代表他的价值，更重要的是，他对社会做了多少贡献，为社会和下一代留下了什么？
“我们常说的‘取诸社会，用诸社会’，意思就是我们对社会的一种回馈，对公益的奉献和捐助。”
锺廷森总结说，一位企业家是否成功，标准可以自己来定，只要你认为自己成功即可，然而，一位受人尊敬的企业家，其标准却是由社会大众来评断，只有获得社会大众的认同，才能被定位为受尊敬的企业家。
应培育下一代
锺廷森重申，要当一位成功的企业家，不仅要以身作则，还要把下一代教育好，培养他们成为有良好教育、有素养的接班人，这样才能让企业永续经营，同时能为国家和社会贡献。
此论坛其他主讲人包括新加坡中华总商会会长蔡其生、菲华商联总会名誉理事长施文界、香港中华总商会永远荣誉会长霍震寰先生、印尼工商会馆中国委员会副主席林文光以及中国海马集团董事长暨中华全国工商业联合会委员景柱先生。

至今欠债30.2亿 美佳钢铁寻投资者
（吉隆坡23日讯）金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股）与金狮多元控股（LIONDIV，2887，主板消费产品股）的子公司美佳钢铁（Mega steel），截至9月23日的各类别债务，总值高达30.2亿令吉。
根据文告，美佳钢铁的各类债务包括银行贷款、令吉债券、可赎回可转换债券股和美元债券等。
文金狮与金狮多元控股分别持股78.89%和21.11%的美佳钢铁，遭到大量钢铁产品涌入我国市场的冲击，连年陷入亏损。
根据文告，由于营运资本不足，美佳钢铁无法缴付银行贷款，而陷入债务违约的窘境。
金狮正计划通过重组寻找潜在投资者，以加强美佳钢铁的财政与营运状况，来解决拖欠债务的问题。
