Not correct. The Salamander shareholders must approve also. Salamander is giving the impression in the market that they have a few bidders which is pushing the share price up. This may be true but Spain's Cepsa is not happy being mentioned in the announcement and might finally pull out.

EPF is taking advantage of the negative news surrounding AMMB recently to drive the price down. There is heavy accumulation (volume) the last two days.

yes, this is a value stock which is undervalued.Dividends ex-date in two days and make 2%+ if price sustain.

I think this is temporary till MD/CEO come on board. EPF and Kadzanah major share holders how can anyone go wrong with this investment. Average down while you have the opportunity.

Yes I am. Not Hadian and Maznah directly but acted "lazy" on the transaction they brought to the table i.e. Salamander, which one can buy directly from the London Exchange.Today they retracted since the counter went up yesterday by saying SONA value added to the deal bla bla bla. If SONA closes lower today, tomorrow morning talk show maybe they will say we were right on the first day. ha ha

Daniel thanks for your clarification. The commentator in BFM also retracted his comment on the "lazy" approach of buying into Salamander, by saying there was value added in the SPA, as you mentioned. I am keen on SPAC because of the best returns in my portfolio. They mentioned there are currently three namely: SONA, Hibuscus and Cliq. Hibiscus is "hibernating" at this moment but what is your opinion on Cliq? They have not gone into any deals at this moment.

DANIELSKS you are right, SPAC counter do not have proven track record. But from what I read from the postings here I am not sure everyone is aware of this fact.You are buying the expertise and professionalism of the management team. And if this is the best deal they can come up with the funds from IPO, Bursa Malaysia(BM) must step in and correct it. In fact the signing off was delayed because this was one of the reasons and BM latter approved it and we saw the "casino" unfold itself. A lot of ppl thought they can make extra "duit Raya" but lost everything.
Anyway we will see if there is any recovery this afternoon.

One way out of this situation is to average down.But don't catch a dropping knife, as yet.
