Look at Vistra energy , the consumption of power energy will increase rapidly due to data centre in US for next few years .Believe YTLP able to growth for next 3 years , but many local analysis said the margin of selling power price will be normalised in 2026

@ularsawa , probably china company eat the meat , local company only can eat bone (as a Subcon of china company )

Even YTL is shortlisted in one of three tender group of HSR, still difficult for YTL have this capital to run this project as gov not involved as guarantor ,while china company have gov support and did a lot railway mega project around world , may be YTL only can be Subcon in HSR project ,not main contractor .So be careful YTL may sell down if didn’t get HSR award

@ularsawa , hard to win in warrant unless the mother share is super bull , when u buy warrant , u already lose in premium , meaning to say u already buy with expensive price

But if u holding more than 1000 lot in one warrant , better sell a bit , scare later no buy quence

I think 2 week before should be okay , that time premium still positive ,and normally banker press down warrant price during last week, u can see ytlp C38 , expiry at end of Mar, still have buy quence, premium still positive

For those who willing to take high risk & high return , warrant is the way to leverage , but u may lose all , small knife cut big tree , it may cut ur foot also

@ ularsawa , its ok if u buy now warrant with low exercise value (at least 3 month to expiry )like ytlp -C42 gearing 3 , premium 7%, exercise value 2.88 (safer ) , expiry date Nov ( that time may be DC profit started )

I actually read dragon238 blog initially, and invest in ytl-C58 when YTL only 0.70 Sen , but I get flush out when ytl retrace from 1.7 to 1.2 , but still I get 100k profit from this warrant . Then I was missed out ytlp boat surge from 2.5 to 4.2 in Jan , I was stuck at ytlp warrant as my entry price 3.8 to 3.9 (total 100k) , these 2 weeks thank to those ikan Billis, I able to average down my warrant price , let’s Huat together

For long term investor - (hold till end of 2024 ) Buy in batches with 3.0, 3.2 , 3,5 , 3.7 and don’t buy above 4.0 as the risk / reward is not worth . The share price already up 400% , as a smart investor , we will nvm eat the fish tail

@Imck, go have a look bank analysis report , the profit estimate for YTLP from 2024 to 2026 is decline, that why YTLP only can enjoy low PER10 , if u compare with tenaga ,the forecast profit 2024 to 2026 is growing , that why it deserve high PER15-18 , pls understand share price is support by big fund , when they realised YTLP is overpriced , they start to take profit . No doubt YTLP is good company . So ask yourself , with current price 3.67 , isn’t a good entry price , what is the risk / reward ratio ? I prefer to enter below RM 3 to have better risk reward ratio

@Imck Pls understand the share price push up by big fund , small retailers like us unable to do that , u can say how good ytlp is , what blala good prospect , target price , especially the PE 15 , that must be certain reason why market don’t want to give PE 15 , if big fund keep selling and leaving , u will stuck at high floor

As a retailer, we need to follow the flow of fund , same like last time glove counter , don’t get fooled by those PE15 & fundamental, may be market only give low PE 6-8 , we have to accept it and respect the market

There was same pull back for ytlp previously Oct 23 , 2.23 to 1.8 and Jun 23 1.36 to 1.15 , I see shark will pull back around 20 % from 4.24 to 3.40 , we should set our cut loss btw 3.20 to 3.30

1) both tenaga & Petgas are in top 30 MISC index , those local institutions and foreign fund have to hold them.
2) Tenaga and petgas can develop their business to the world , but PBA only in Penang. The growth is limited
3) Tenaga & Petgas pay out high dividend in past few years which give investor confident , but PBA didn’t
4) Petgas & tenaga have well story of renewable energy in future , but PBA just a convention water supply
That why I don’t think PBA will reserve PE more than 8

@dragon328 , market only give high PE for growth company , i did agree with your high PE 15 for ytlp & YTL as there are still a lot upcoming project , for PBA I didn’t see any growth in next 2 year as water traffik hike only revised next 3 year

Hi@ super911 , I did rmb litrak also payout 6% dividend , but market only give PE 6-8 as the company is not growing, so if dividend is 15 Sen per share , PBA only worth RM 2.40 ,PE 8 , 6% dividend yield

The current price RM 1.9 already price in water traffik hike in 2024 , don’t chase high and should not be too optimistic of high PE 15 for this company

Based on dragon328 view ,PBT around RM128 million , PAT RM 94.72million ( 24 % tax) , EPS only 29 Sen , I don’t think market will give high PE 15 as it’s just a small company , it only deserve up to PE 7-8 same as last time litrak so it only worth RM 2.10 -RM 2.40
